Pros and Cons of a Tall Girlfriend

Izuku x Momo 

 In relationships there are the typical roles of either partner, whether man and woman, man and man or woman and woman and whichever other combination the author is forgetting off the top of his head as of writing this, there are roles to each. Now I'm not talking about the late night bedroom stuff more the actual wholesome bit and not the fucking brains out bit. In a traditional straight relationship the roles are simple, the men's and women's roles. The woman is oftentimes the one being held when cuddling, the one who sits in her partner's lap and is swooped up off her feet whenever the couple is celebrating major milestones in the relationship. She is often shorter than he is but as all things there are exceptions to this. Much like the relationship between a young woman of 5'11" and her boyfriend who is only 5'5".

Don't get him wrong, Izuku loves and adores his girlfriend Momo and loves to hold her in his arms and on his lap but, oftentimes it is he who is being held. The others would often make fun of him when the black haired goddess of the class would walk past, see her boyfriend then pick him up like a house cat and bring him with her somewhere else. Mineta was none too pleased about the 9th user getting carried around and coddled by the tallest and most attractive girl in 1-A. Bakugou was quick to make a joke about who wears the pants in their relationship only to have a ceramic coffee mug beam him in the forehead as thrown by the tall lady herself. That was an interesting morning since the shattered ceramic caused his face to bleed pretty bad. Momo couldn't care less after having learned of the tenuous past between her boyfriend and the blonde marauder. Today, we see the couple in the middle of the cafeteria with Izuku sitting on Momo's lap having abnormal stares beamed at them.

"Hey Yaomomo?" the purple haired friend of the creation quirk user asks.

"Yes Jirou." Momo responds,taking her attention away from Mina who had been talking about the previous day's heroics exercise.

"Don't you ever feel...I don't know. Embarrassed having a shorter boyfriend?" Both Izuku and Momo stared at each other before the Creation quirk user replied.

"Not really. Why?"

"Well you two kinda...look weird. Don't take it the wrong way, but I kinda would see Midoriya do that more."

"It's not like we don't change roles." Momo begins hugging Izuku like a plushie while smiling. "But I kinda like this myself."

Izuku began to go beet red before class B's narcissist Monoma came over. "Well if it isn't the scum of class A. Such a shame you all can't have normal relationships." He began laughing uncontrollably before pointing at Izuku. "This little twerp can't even hold his own giant girlfriend like a normal guy would! Oh the shame he must feel as a man! I wonder if he could even-" Before he could finish his sentence, Izuku just sighed before flicking Monoma on the nose sending him flying through the windows on the other side of the cafeteria.

"You were saying?" He asks nobody in particular before going back to eating his lunch.

"Sometimes I think he forgets you're able to beat him with just brute strength alone before even putting your quirk into the equation."

"That would make sense. I didn't even use a single percent of my power to send that moron flying." Izuku looked down a bit, noticing that the two weren't exactly the image of 'normal' to feel a little embarrassed from their position.

"Is everything ok?"

"Yeah, but do you mind if I'm the one on the seat?" The two swapped spots for everyone to see some unease and the image of the two looking more awkward than it already was.

Throughout the day, Izuku would try to show a bit more of a male lead compared to their normal acts such as trying to wrap his arm around Momo's shoulder, being the one to hug her from behind, as well as picking her up like a princess. To those around, it was extremely awkward to watch with Bakugou making quips about him compensating for being less of a man to once again get something thrown at him by Momo. As soon as he recovers from getting beamed in the head by something heavy and thrown, Momo drops a 37cm ruler she made with a simple two character kanji on the back. "Izuku's Length" is all it said which absolutely infuriated Katsuki that Deku is more than 6 times his own length. Everyone laughed a bit before Momo noticed the unease in her boyfriend. She planned to talk to him later when everyone wasn't around since she noticed this was getting to him.
