Chapter 1

I entered on to the stage for the first time. My hands were shaking and the the chairs were facing the opposite way. I took a glimpse at my family and Taylor and smiled but I started up the song and closed my eyes.

These walls and all these picture frames
Every name they show
These halls I've walked a thousand times
Heartbreaks and valentines, friends of mine all know

I ended the song and opened my eyes everyone was cheering I looked to see Blake and Adam turned around in there chairs. I started to freak out inside. But smiled "who's it gonna be"

"Pick me "Blake said pointing at his self Adam was shaking his head and kept point at his self"im sorry Adam but I gotta go with my roots and go with Blake" the crowd cheered and blake got up and hugged me

"Glad your on my team... Didn't catch your name"

"Im kayla "I smiled he nodded and I walked off stage and the first person I saw was Taylor I ran and jumped into his arms "im so proud of you" he whispered in my ear. I looked down at him and he had a serious look in his eyes.

"Congrats baby girl"my mom an dad yelled walking over to us. Taylor put me down and hugged me. My parents joined the Hug.

~2 years later~

"Your on in 5" luke smiled I nodded and walked out into the long hallway and followed luke to the back of the stage. He was gonna sing with me tonight. "Ready ?" He smiled I nodded and we both went out

"Hey everybody"I said into the microphone. The crowd roared with cheers and different signs were made for me and luke.

"So we got this amazing song kayla hasn't sung in 2 years I just discovered it and I wanted to sing it with her"I looked at luke with a confused look but then this time started to play..

I sung the first part and had tears in my eyes he's gone ...he moved on he didn't need me anymore but I miss Taylor I really do...after I sung my part I looked over to see luke over in the backstage and someone started to sing.
