An encounter with fate

It had been a week already since Sorbet's family had been killed right in front of them... They didn't want to believe it... They wished it was just an awful nightmare that would just end soon but waking up not seeing their family besides them they soon realised it wasn't.

Sorbet hated the ocean, they've lived there for many years and now with their parents gone they just feel all alone... They've been in so many life and death experiences that they just wanted to be free from it all "Why did this have to happen?!?!" they always thought that every night.... They didn't feel safe anymore... they missed their parents, their brother, their sisters and their twin...

That twins name was Fizzy Shark... They were a huge part of Sorbet's life before that forbidden day... They were best friends, one always hoped to be a sailor whislt Sorbet always wished to be a pirate however those hopes faded away from Sorbet...

They didn't want to be anywhere near the ocean anymore, they hated it, ALL THIS HAPPENED BECAUSE THEY LIVE IN THE OCEAN, IT'S A DANGEROUS PLACE, WHY DIDN'T THEY LISTEN TO THEIR DAD WHEN HE SAID NOT TO BEFRIEND THE DOLPHIN NEARBY?!?! Nope their curiousity got the best of them... well in this case the worse.

It had been a tiring week for them, they just wanted to sleep but it just felt like someone would end up killing them like what happened to the others... they had to be fully aware of their surroundings so that meant no more energetic Sorbet, no more happy Sorbet... only serious Sorbet... How could they even be happy if their only pride and joy was snatched away from them for good?

After sometime Sorbet was getting rather sick and tired of living in the sea, all they wanted was to see the land... they had heard many awful rumors about the land but even so they'd much rather be there than where they were right now...

They wanted adventure and excitement, a feeling that had disappeared from them, they wanted to smile again but fuck it was so hard to do so... Smiling after your families own death? That's awful!!!! They wanted to get as far away from the ocean as possible, away from all their struggles, away from the stress, they want to feel free... but if they want to feel that they're going to need legs.

How would this shark gain legs you may ask? Through a cave of course, a cave that legends say can make any wish you ask for come true... However for some reason their mum always tried to stop them from going there though... they knew how much Sorbet wanted to be on land but she were so scared of them getting hurt in a way that would affect them physically since they're actually very accident prone.

It had been some time and Sorbet had finally made it to that so called Cave of Wishes all they had to do was wait for a certain someone to appear... they expected them to appear from within the cave but no they looked up and there they saw her... apparently her name was Moonlight

"What is it that you desire? Is it someones love? A-" Sorbet immediately interrupted her desperate for their wish to be granted, they wouldn't waste anytime to get what they need.

"I NEED LAND LEGS PLEASE JUST GIVE ME LAND LEGS!!!!" Sorbet cried out whilst the tears welled up in their eyes, it had been such a rough week for them and they just wanted to feel safe again.

"Oh is that definitely what you're asking for?" Sorbet nodded their head extremely fast

"Also... one more thing..."

"I'm really sorry but I cannot grant another wish until tomor-"

"I really want a hug..." this statement startled Moonlight, she looked at the young teen dead in the eyes and noticed how their tears rolled down their cheeks one by one, them trembling and the scars on their arms caused by sea creatures attacking them...
