So! I tried writing an A/N in the first chapter of the story but it ended up being too long so I'm just going to put it here.
Before you get to reading, I just wanna say that this is fiction and is not meant to be taken seriously. I am not affiliated with the song/show/characters/actors that are in this story. This is just for entertainment.
Anyways. I started watching Friends recently (by recently, I mean like less than 2 months ago) and basically fell in love with every aspect of the show. After watching the whole series, I watched the reunion and was livid at the fact that Jen and David were crushing on each other during the early seasons.
So after watching that, I couldn't stop thinking at how much a song called wildest dreams resembled a part of jenvid. If you don't listen to taylor swift and are just reading this for jenvid then I wanna explain really quickly that the wildest dreams mv is basically two actors that fell in love with each other during filming a movie but they couldn't be together because the guy had a girlfriend so the leading lady hopes that after they say goodbye, the leading man will still see her even if it's just in his wildest dreams, but long story short; the song is about a relationship that you know is going to end, but at the same time, hoping it will last.
I don't wanna spoil what is in the book but I feel like I have to warn everyone that is about to read this story; the original story I wrote does not have a happy ending (read until the end of this paragraph) just because my favorite trope to write AND read is soulmate aus/right person, wrong time tropes BUT ALSO, because looking where the two actors are now, they obviously didn't end up together because of forces beyond their control. I wanted the story to be realistic as much as I wanted it to be respectful. BUT! but! I will write a chapter with an alt. ending at the very end that WILL be a happy ending just because I don't want to end this story on a bitter note for those of you that are looking for a happy ending.
SO ANYWAYS! Each chapter of this story will have a lyric from wildest dreams and keep your eyes out because I didn't highlight or bold them so you'll have to find it yourself (taylor can't do easter eggs like me LOL) have fun! take care <3
