Y/n's POV:
I woke up today. The sun was shining and there were no clouds in the sky. It was clear, beautiful skies for miles I could see. Today is my mothers' birthday, so my parents are going on a special date. I am going to be dropped off at daycare. I am not sure how it is going to go, but I hope to have some fun. The last time I went to a daycare everything was so loud and boring. I thankfully never had to go back. I have been in and out of daycare for a long time now, only because my parents work non-stop and don't have much time to take care of me. I'm okay with it because I can live a decent life, it's nothing too bad.
"Come on y/n it's time for us to get up and ready to go. We do not have all day." Mom said from the main level.
"I'm on my way down," I replied as I finished pulling my hoodie over my head.
About ten minutes after I came downstairs we were in the car and on our way to the daycare. The drive was about 30 minutes, so I sat in the car and thought. I was imagining what it would be like to live on a cloud. If we could sit on clouds and not get wet. I would normally be trying to see what shapes the clouds made. Today there were no clouds, so this is the next best thing. It was a pretty good morning today, not a lot of crazy noises and I also got a pretty good breakfast.
We have finally arrived at the daycare. It looks nice, it also looks somewhat peaceful. We sat in the parking lot for a little because mom and dad had to get their things together. They also get me signed up online.
"Come on y/n, time to get out of the car. We are here and ready." Dad told me while he opened my door.
"Thanks so much, dad," I said as I got myself out of the car.
We went inside and it looked a lot better than it did, from the outside. We waited in line for what felt like an hour when it was probably 30 minutes. It looked fun. There were statues of people like things. One looked like a sun and the other looked like the moon. My best guess is that they run the daycare. When we got to the front of the line it was time for them to check me in and go.
"Bye honey-bunny we will see you later," Dad said while hugging me goodbye.
"Bye Dad, see you later," I replied.
"Bis später y/n" my Mom said. Her parents were immigrants from Germany, so we spoke it sometimes.
"Bis später Mutter. Ich leibe du." I replied.
After our goodbyes, they left. I went to a slide and went down it. It was very colourful. In the end, I fell into a ball pit. There were a lot of kids down here, but it wasn't too loud. I liked it so far. Then I saw the sun-like thing. It was so tall, like 7 feet maybe. He was super interesting. He looked like a robot.
"HELLO NEW FRIEND!! Nice to meet you. I am Sundrop, but some call me sun, sunny, sunshine. but you can call me anything. What's your name." Mr. Sun said to me. He seemed very energetic.
"Hello I'm y/n, but some people call me n/n. It's nice to meet you too, Mr. Sun." I said politely.
"Would you like to come to draw? We have glitter glue. Do you like glitter glue?" Mr. Sun asked.
"Yeah, that sounds fun," I replied. Today is going to be a good day I can feel it. I hope that mom and dad will make this a permanent daycare, seeing as I need a new one.
