You shook your foot on top of the chair across from you getting impatient from your fathers yelling.
"Do you know how idiotic you sound?! Going to Japan because you need to find yourself? You've been given a silver spoon your whole life and near the end of your teen years you believe now is the time for this nonsense?!"
You hummed staring at your shoes not really listening, "I think that about sums it up."
Your name was shouted and you wince pulling the phone away from your ear.
"What! I can hear your just fine! No need to scream."
"You need to stop this bullshit! You know that I am at my wits end here. You've been all across Asia and now you want to move there? Right when our company was going to announce you as the next owner?!"
You sighed, "Dad, I don't get why you're so upset about it! Can't you find an employee to do the work?"
"I've sent you to the top schools and you're still this incompetent."
You heard a heavy sigh.
"Listen to me, you have a month to live in Japan."
Your eyebrow raised, "Dad, I'm technically grown. I was going to go with or without your say so."
"With what money?"
The silence rang through the room you were in, irritated you rolled your eyes, "You wouldn't leave your only child high and dry like that."
Oh he totally would, and you knew that.
"As I was saying, you have a month to find yourself. After that I expect you to come back and have your sense back."
"Ok."
You hung up the phone giggling to yourself.
Who does your dad think he is? He's only 40 something and acts like he needs someone to take over the business because of his age.
"Marinaa!" You drawled out, smiling at the maid who quickly ran to your aid.
"Yes?"
"Can you get my wardrobe ready and have someone rent me out an apartment in Shinjuku."
"Right away ma'am."
You snapped your fingers, "Make sure it's fully furnished as well. Ahh yea, contact the pilot as well. Tell him to be ready at 5 pm today."
The nurse looked at you hesitantly, "It's 3:28 already... Are you sure?"
You looked at her with disgust, "Are you questioning me? Just do as I say."
"B-But-!"
You slapped the maid across her cheek, making her fall to the ground.
