"Shit is taking forever." Ten complained as he paced in front of his friends. Some agreed, his main friend wishing he would sit and stop obstructing his view.
"That's how it always is when it's a new piece." Joe tried to interject to squelch the complaints. But to no avail,
"Well, I ain't staying in here another minute." The group joins him, all except one,
"You gon keep a lookout?" Ten asked as he grabbed his bag off the ground,
"That's good. Keep our place in line. We'll be back. " Before joining the group, ten and Joe turned back along with Three,
"Keep this on, and don't take none of it off. You know who you are, but they don't. Keep it that way. Just for today."
They all chimed in, as each placed something that covered his appearance, mainly his face, from any onlookers. He kept quiet as he readjusted the materials, as his friends left soon after. His eyes focused on her as she moved about behind the counter, growing furious as it seemed more and more work was placed in front of her, his thoughts overriding the specifically important day as the culprit when he thought,
"How much more work could she take?"Stepping forward, careful of the glass as he leaned forward,
"My fault. My big ass order got you running around here from one end to the other." He tried smiling to lessen any anger she might throw his way.
