I sat in my room listening to my mother yell at her friend.You have got to be kidding me,I thought.I plugged my ears not wanting to hear another word."Because of you that boy does not have a father...he doesn't even know him!"Audrey my mothers closest friend yelled. "Oh got sent outside like a dog, just because I screamed at my mother and her friend."

I ran outside. The sky was gray and everything was dull, but there was a warm, pleasant breeze. Everything was dull except well me, Harleen. I skipped down the street towards the park. When I got there I sat down on a bench and waited for him to come
Chapter 3:Vincent
I saw her sitting on the bench and quickend my pace. She was remarkably pretty, she had perfectly straight brown hair and warm brown eyes. She had a brilliant smile and a great personality. Harleen (I like to call her Harley or Harles) was energetic, and got over excited or emotional over anything. I am surprised she isn't ADHD.
"Hi Harles."
"Oh hi Vinny!"
We decided to take a walk. She grabbed my wrist every time we pasted someone.She was kidnapped at a fair when she was little and got beat up. Poor Harles, scared she might get taken again, scared she might get hurt, scared she might get another scar that would stay with her ... Forever.
