Chapter 4

Star's POV:

As soon as Marco passed out after he won, my parents were there. They looked around and saw me.

"Star, darling. We heard that Tom lost the engagement." My mom said, "We are here to meet your new fiancé."

I said, "You can't meet him unless he's conscious! Help him!"

My dad saw Marco and quickly whistled. A guard came and picked Marco up. We went in the carriage and went through the portal. I didn't let Marco leave my side.

"Hang in their Marco." I said.

My dad said, "His name is Marco?"

I nodded. "Marco Diaz. And he's my best friend."

My dad raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure he's just a friend."

I didn't answer.

"I see the way you look at him, Star," My mom smiled. "It's the same way I look at your father."

I sighed. "Can we please talk about this later when I know Marco will be okay?"

They nodded. We arrived at the castle and Marco was rushed to the infirmary. I followed closely behind, but the nurse quickly stopped me.

"I'm sorry princess, but you can't go in there now." The nurse said.

I went to my room to wait. I looked at all the pictures on the wall of Pony. Then I saw a picture of Tom and me. I growled.

I needed to change it. It was the second biggest photo on that wall. I'm going to change it to the person I care most about.

I used my wand and the picture changed to Marco and me. I smiled a little. Only a little, but still a smile.

"Star," My father knocked at my door. "I need to talk to you."

I huffed. "What?"

He said, "It's about you and your magic training. You obviously have learned to control it, so it's high time you come home."

My eyes widened. "What? No! I can't leave yet! Marco needs me!"

He shook his head. "I'm sorry darling, but you'll see him in four years. It's time for queen training. And as long as you're on Muni, you will follow my orders.

Then he left me half-crying. I couldn't leave Marco! He and I are now engaged! And he's also my big crush! I love him. And he loves me. Is he my boyfriend? I don't know because we haven't found the time to talk.
