Universe 6 vs Universe 7

The group is confused about this, of course, but Whis clears it up with a simple. "Ah, Vados, what brings you to our little universe?" This shatters what most of the gang knows, and before anyone can ask any questions, Vados replies with.
"Whis, Lord Beerus. I have come on behalf of Lord Champa-" Which earns a growl from Beerus "who wants to extend a challenge to you and this universe. A 5 vs 5 tournament with fighters hand picked by the Gods of Destruction. The prize would be...the Super Dragonballs."
"Super Dragonballs? So...there's ones that are stronger than Earth's and Namek's?" Bulma asks, to which Vados nods.
"Yes, very much so. The Dragonballs you know are...child's play compared to the Super Dragonballs."
"Ah, why does he not accept that I beat him last time?! He can't ever let anything go." Beerus is steamed.

"Because, Lord Beerus, he is your brother. I would suspect you two to fight many more times in the coming milenia...oh, also, good to see you back up and moving about. I was worried you'd miss a lot more."

After a few more minutes of talking, it's clear this tournament is for a very big prize, and Beerus can't afford to lose it. "The rules are as follows. 1 vs 1 inside the ring at any time. Ring outs and knock-outs count towards your Universe. Killing is strictly forbidden and will cause the fighter who did it to be disqualified. The last Universe standing is the winner."

"So it seems like simple enough rules...who are you going to pick Beerus?" Kakarot seems eager to fight, even after already having lost to Frieza.
"You dunce, we just had a war with Frieza and Cooler, we're not ready for a tournament!"
"The tournament is in 5 days, you have plenty of time to rest and ready up." Vados informs. "Oh, and before I forget, if you wish to be in the tournament, you must pass an exam."
"An exam? You mean, like a test?"
"Yes dad, that's exactly what she means. 5 days, we need to take this time and think of who's going to be in it. Me and Uncle Raditz are easy picks, we'll be the strongest ones there. Dad and Vegeta are the next strongest...as for who's the 5th." Gohan thinks on it for a moment. "I mean, Raunch is the strongest of her, Trunks, and Goten. The kids won't be there, as it will be too dangerous, and I think the androids would be disqualified off of-"
"There is a machine man on Lord Champa's team, if you're worried about a disqualification."
"Ah, so I guess they could join in. Hmmm."
"Gohan, we'll worry about it later. Right now, we all need rest, ok?"
"Kakarot's right, we need to sleep and recover...and train for the upcoming tournament."
"I will see to it that Lord Beerus has a team fully ready, and backups just in case." With that, Vados heads off, Whis and Beerus head back to their planet, and the team gets a much needed rest.

Over the next 5 days, everyone is training harder than ever to be ready for literally anything. Beerus comes back with this team. Kakarot, Vegeta, Raditz, Gohan, and 17, with 18, 16, Raunch, and Goten as backups, just in case. The group gets the blessings of the Z-Fighters, with Gine giving worried hugs to her sons, grandson, and granddaughter. "Please be safe, ok?" The group nods to her, and off they go with Whis.

Meanwhile, with Champa, he has picked out his five from various parts of Universe 6. Cabba, a Saiyan from Sadala, Frost, one of Frieza's race and quoted as a hero, Mageta, a member of the highly sensitive Metalman race, Botamo, a bear like warrior with a nigh unbeatable frame, and Hit, Universe 6's greatest assassin and master of the Time Skip. Lord Champa brings in Cabba's brother Renso as his only backup.

Arriving at the arena, the teams don't meet, as they have to go through the exam first. Thankfully, the group all manages to pass, even with the difficult exam. Everyone gets to go through to the arena. Both teams are on opposite platforms in the air above the arena. The rules are said once more for everyone to understand, and this is the first time everyone gets a look at U6. Hit was the most dangerous member, everyone in U7 could tell that. "I'm going to go first." 17 drops into the arena, and waits while U6 decides on Botamo to go first. Botamo is huge compared to 17, but he readies up regardless.
