How do I express something extremely beautiful?
I believe the beautiful shouldn't be talked about,
It is something to be seen, heard and touched,
Not through someone or something,
It should be through the original source,
Yet here I am trying to convey something along those lines,
A cliche subject, the little things,
Why am I talking about it then?
Rarely have I seen it being beautifully expressed,
Rarely have I seen it being expressed candidly, genuinely,
So will I be attempting that here?
I am a simple being trying to convey something so overwhelming,
Something I believe, is out of my scope,
That is all,
Have you tried to notice the tiny things in life?
No, not when you had nothing else to do,
When you were going through a hardship,
Have you?
No, I suppose,
We take the path that has been hackneyed, always,
Take the other path too, sometimes,
Because you will notice how mesmerizing all of it can be,
At times of hardships, focusing on the misery is the way we take,
To get out of it, to go back to comfort,
But you have it all, around you,
That moment of happiness you seek, is around you,
Sitting in solitude, talking to tiny, beautiful flowers,
Trying to stay still, hoping for a butterfly or a dragonfly,
To come and bless me with it's graceful presence,
Hoping for a beautiful leaf to fly to me, fall on my lap,
So that I can keep it safe and treasure it,
Inside one of my favourite books,
To find its beautiful remains, when I'm old and again, in solitude :)
This brings a smile to my face,
A smile that comes so naturally, from deep within, effortlessly,
Have you tried any of these?
Worry not, it takes time,
You take time to realize things, especially the good things,
There still is a tomorrow, a today, a now,
Go on, go do something crazy,
Jump around like a kid, try to get a butterfly to come near you,
Find an eccentric leaf, stone, anything,
Doesn't it bring you joy?
The very tiny and unassuming things,
How beautiful it can all be,
It still surprises me, very very much,
This might've been all confusing and perplexing even,
Well, that confirms something for me,
I have successfully conveyed the strangeness of beautiful things :)
