8. Jealousy.

Chandrachur's smirked and turned around. He was in his uniform, he looked devilish. Thakur smirked and said, "Thank you, inspector Chandrachur." Chandrachur's smirk suddenly changed into anger and he said, "Don't dare to call me by that name, I am CC. I don't know why my dad had kept those old fashioned names. I hate that name. My name is only CC. Can you get it??"

Thakur gulped in fear and said, "Okay CC. Here is your money." Thakur was about to give him the money when someone slapped CC. CC looked at him with fear, "Commissioner Sahab." While, Thakur gulped and said, "Commissioner Trilochan Boss, I am sorry but I don't want this case to go forward."

Trilochan looked at him with anger in his eyes and said, "Shut up!! I will not let you do these acts. And you, Inspector CC, you are suspended. No need to come to the police station from tomorrow." CC stomped his feet and left for his home.

After CC left, Trilochan went into a deep chain of thoughts.  He said to himself, "Arvind Das and Rohan Chatterjee, you both were my best friends but I don't think you both died due to a car accident. Some other mystery is behind it. But we still can't find your son and your daughter. Their bodies can't be found even."

Here in London, after Bondita came out from the washroom, she found Subhra crying. She went near her and wiped her tears and said, "What happened Aunty?? Why are you crying??" Subhra smiled and took her in a warm and peaceful hug.

Subhra said, "Bondita, You know your mother and I were best friends. I am so sad to know about her death." Bondita had tears in her eyes when she recalled her dreadful past. The whole world knows that her family died in an accident but did they die in an accident??

Bondita said, "Aunty, don't cry. What's been done, we can't undo it but we can start our life keeping our past aside." Sumati smiled at her innocence and said, "Bondita, from today you're going to stay with me. And don't call me aunty, I am like your mother so call me Mumma."

Bondita smiled in happiness and said, "Mumma." Subhra caressed her hair and took her towards the dining table for dinner.

After dinner, a boy came and hugged Subhra, he was of Bondita's age only. Bondita looked at him and blinked her eyes. It looked like her Anirudh sir had become small. Subhra called Bondita toward them and said, "Bondita, meet Batuk, my younger son."

Bondita giggled and said, "Oh, he is my Anirudh Sir's brother. I was thinking that did Anirudh sir became small." Batuk smiled at her and forwarded his hands for a handshake. Bondita happily joined her hands and introduced each other.

After the dinner, Subhra called Bondita and asked her to sit in front of her. Bondita did as she told. Subhra took some oil and started massaging her scalp. Bondita was feeling so good because after her mother's death no one was there to massage her scalp. Bondita had tears in her eyes. Batuk started making faces on watching Subhra taking care of Bondita. Earlier Subhra used to massage his scalp with oil but soon as Bondita came, his mother forgot him. Batuk was jealous of Bondita.

Suddenly Bondita found that her locket was not in her neck. She panicked and asked Subhra, "Ma did you see any locket??" Subhra smiled and said, "Yes, It's on the table beside your bed." Bondita smiles and Subhra continues her massage.

After some time all of them went to their respective rooms to sleep. Anirudh slept with Batuk as Bondita had hijacked his room.

Bondita went to her room and started searching for the locket. Bondita saw the locket on the dressing table. She immediately took it in her hands and kept it on her heart. Indeed the locket as well as the people on it was close to her heart. Ahe said, "Where are you?? This was your last gift on my birthday after that I can't find you. I miss you, please come back to me."

On the other hand, in a dark room, a boy of nearly 16 years was looking at a watch. He caressed it with full love. He had tears in his eyes. He said with heavy sobs, "Where are you?! This was your last gift. When I got selected for the football team, you gave me this gift. After that dreadful day, I can't find you anywhere. I even lost my parents. Where are you Bondita? I miss you."

The next morning, Bondita woke up and took bath. She got ready for school, she was about to comb her hair when Subhra came and started combing her hair. Bondita smiled. After she was ready, she went downstairs to take breakfast.

Subhra called her, "Bondita, come and sit beside me. I'll feed you today." Bondita nodded. Subhra started feeding her while Batuk was burning in jealousy. Batuk holds Anirudh's hand and orders, "Dada, feed me."

Anirudh looked at him with confusion and asked, "Why??" Batuk took his hands and forcefully eat a morsel of food. Anirudh rolled his eyes in irritation watching his weird brother. Anirudh feeds Batuk because he knows that if he didn't feed him now, Batuk will finish Anirudh's food too.

After that Anirudh went with Bondita to his school whereas Batuk went to his school. Batuk studied in a different school as he was not at all interested in science and Westminster School mainly focuses on science.
