Alien Abduction

My little sister, Kacie, and I had been jumping on the trampoline for about twenty minutes when we got hungry. I went inside to make us some sandwiches while she continued to jump. Putting on the finishing touches, I look up and out the window to see that Aliens are abducting Kacie! I couldn't believe my eyes. I dropped the ham and cheese sandwiches and ran to her aid.

The door was stuck. The aliens must have used some advanced technology to lock me in. It was terrifying. She was floating up in the cliché green beam towards a triangle-shaped ship. She was screaming for me to save her and trying to swim in midair. The beam must have been 800 feet long, but it was moving so slowly you would have thought she was swimming in molasses. I picked up the nearest plant that I could find and hurled it at the glass. It bounced off and flew back at me with the same force. I ducked out of the way as it smashed into the wall behind me. I was running out of ideas.

The aliens had advanced technology to lock me in and change the window's material. I dialed 9-1-1 on my cell phone. I didn't know if they would believe me. I heard that 9-1-1 will still send officers in most cases to make sure everything is okay. The operator thought I was prank-calling her even when I started crying. I had no idea how to save my sister. Kacie was almost inside the alien spaceship when our parents pulled into the driveway.

The operator told me not to disturb the police with nonsense and hung up on me. I pounded on the window and screamed for it to stop, not knowing what else to do. Our parents had rushed out of the car, and our dad had the brilliant idea to grab our garden hose. He threw the handle at Kacie just as she was about to go through the bottom hatch of the spaceship. She caught the hose, they both started pulling on their end to get her down.

Our dad grabbed her from the beam when she was finally on the ground. He pulled her into the car and drove down the road. Then, strangely, the alien ship retracted its abduction beam and flew off. When it was gone, I tested the door and finally opened it. I flung it open and ran out to our parents as they pulled back into the driveway with my sister. We were both crying while our parents tried to get what happened out of us.

They wanted to know why I had just watched from the window while my sister got abducted. I had to explain about the locked door and the bouncing window. They didn't believe me until I showed them the broken plant. That is the story of how my sister almost got abducted.
