Part VI - The truth

It's 6AM and I woke up to get ready for school.Apparently Michael woke up earlier and got me breakfast in bed.
-Here's your breakfast,my princess!
-OMG thank you!But isn't "princess" to much?
-Maybe, but that doesn't matter.Today my dad's gonna drive us to school.
-Ok,I love you!
-I love you too,Y/n!:)

I got to school and I told my best friend about me and Michael.She said she was happy for us but I saw that she wasn't feeling so happy..Maybe I'm overthinking again.

I get home and Mike calls me.His voice was shaking and he was stuttering a lot.

-Y/n, p-please go to my house..I n-need you..
-Sure but what happened?
-I can't tell you now,just please come!
-Ok, I'll be there in 10 minutes.

-Where are you going,Y/n?
-I'm going to Mike's house.He said he needs me.
-I told you that you shouldn't trust that boy!
-Mom, please don't do that right now!
I took my skateboard and I went immediately to Michael's house.

After I reached his house:

-Hi, Michael!What happened?
-My dad..Do you remember the missing children?At the restaurant.
-Yeah,I remember.
-He..killed them!I didn't know..I would tell someone if I knew.If you want to break out with me it's ok.
-Oh...I- where is your father right now?
-He's in prison.I promise I didn't help him with nothing!I didn't know till today!
-I believe you!You're not the type to do that.It's gonna be ok!<3
-So you're not breaking out with me?
-Of course not!I'm gonna support you.
-Thanks, Y/n!I really appreciate it.

We both didn't say nothing for a long time because we felt really awkward but then he asked me if I want to make some cookies so we did.
We ate them then we watched a movie so we can get the stuff about his dad away from our minds then I got back home because it was already 7 PM.
