POV (Erebus)
There she was red long hair cascading down her shoulders. Skin a milky white. And eyes the deepest shade of grey. She wasn't alone her friend sat next to her quietly chatting up a storm at the Barnes and noble they were at sitting casually right where the Starbucks was in the store. He silently watched her thinking how he would love to graze the side of her face with his hand. And to make her feel the inner most complete. But this was dangerous territory for how was he to express to her a human a mortal a beautiful soul. That he had grown affection towards her without even meeting her in person. Yet he watched her he felt a strange pull to this one women he could not stop. It was like an addiction. She didn't even know he existed but boy was that going to change starting today. She was his secret to keep and his alone. What if his father found out he was spying on a human. The devil himself happened to know everything hopefully he could keep his father out of his hair for once. Yet he had rules and obligations things he had to do to being destructive towards this world. But as he watched the petty red head he couldn't keep his mind straight. Right then she got up abruptly excusing herself from her friend for a bit walking straight towards the section for fiction. Now was his chance to introduce himself. He watched closely as her hands flew almost automatically to a fantasy novel and she picked it up gingerly flipping through the pages eagerly. Excuse me he said to her charismatically do you happen to work here by any chance? You see I need help finding a certain book. Oh no she said sweetly tucking a stray strand of hair behind her ear, I don't work here but I'd be glad to help you find it. Since I come here often I know this particular place like the back of my hand she laughed. Oh thank you so much that's to kind Erebus said grinning. Inside he was filled with such raw emotions. If only he could stay with her all day he would if he didn't have expectations from his father to uphold unfortunately. Her eager smile knocked him out of his thoughts immediately. Sorry he said shaking his head at himself. I was looking for a book called Earthbound. Oh she said biting her bottom plump lip. I didn't picture you as a romance novel fan. He all but shrugged his shoulders to distracted by her beauty. Well I tend to dilly around in my reading here and there I'm pretty much a fan of most books he said casually. Well that's refreshing to hear she said grinning ear to ear. Here it is she said pulling out the book neatly from the far corner isle. As she handed it to him happily. His head begin to feel very hot and heavy a sign he has begun to feel all to familiar with meaning his father wanted him back home but home meaning hell itself. In a blink of an eye he heard their voices consuming his thoughts calling him home. His fathers demons taunting him yet again. I'm so sorry he said blushing at her. I got to go check this out then leave. I forgot I had something I had to do. Oh ok she muttered softly well good luck on your endeavors. Thank you he smiled back but you will be seeing me again he all but whispered. With that he walked out of the cute book store and made a break for it in the darkness that kissed him in the night.
