I kind of just sat there. Waiting not being able to contain my excitement!

Even though I was sad. I don't know why exactly. I guess I felt happy because I wouldn't be alone as much. And sad because I knew he wouldn't stay with me forever.

I had let my eyes wander around my living room. Empty Monster cans, the TV, some plants, the front door, the stairs, and the kitchen.

I just looked around even though I already knew the house inside out.

Then I heard a ring.

My heart jumped.

I don't know why I felt so happy at first I thought am I in love?

But I just brushed it off he's just a friend (yeah I'm a former Miraculous fan)

But I wasn't sure if that was true. And then I heard my phone ring. It was Sapnap. I answered in a heartbeat.

"I just landed!"

Oh God. I love his voice, the way he talks to me is so sweet. I was too busy thinking about it that I had forgotten to respond.

"Oh! Yeah head to gate A on theee.. left?" I said unsure of what he asked

"Karl." He said

"Yeah??" I can admit I was panicing

"I asked if you knew where the bagging area was not the exit."

" Oh! Yeah I think over by where boarding gate 14 is right next to that," I was really embarrassed but he didn't seem to notice

" Alright! Thank you! I'll text you when I get to your house! Byeeeee!"

And he hung up.

" Bye."

I was a little sad he hung up so quickly. But he is one step closer to giving me a hug. That's all I really wanted. Just one hug from him!
