(Louis' POV)

It's just after my last class of the day, and now I'm grabbing my jacket out of my locker, simultaneously waiting for Christy, who's at her locker a little bit down the hall. When I close the locker door, there's someone on the other side. I jerk back, but then I realize it's just Harry.

"Hey," he says, still leaning against the lockers, "bit jumpy today, eh?" Harry stands up straight, smiling widely. "So did you hear about- oh, hey Christy..."

I turn, and there's Christy, walking up behind me. “Hi…Harry,” she says in a not-exactly-friendly tone, looking Harry up and down. I don't know what it is about these two, but ever since they met a couple days ago when Christy and I gave Harry a ride home from Niall's, they haven't gotten along. It's like they instantly didn't like each other, but I can't figure out why.

"Hey LouBear," Christy smiles, giving me a hug. I catch the glare she sends Harry's way over my shoulder, but pretend not to see it. “Hey, Chriss.”

I turn so my back's against the lockers, with Christy to my left and Harry to my right. "SO, you were saying, Harry...?"

He looks over at me, a slightly confused look on his face. "What..? OH, did you hear about Niall's party?" he grins again, nearly bouncing up and down with excitement. Niall? Throwing a party? Oh God. The boy drinks more and throws more parties than anyone I've ever met, and that's saying something. I've only ever been to one of his famous parties, and that was more than enough. I'm not big on partying, personally. I shrug. "Another one? When?"

He gives me a strange look. "It's the first one of the year, mate! First big party, not even just Niall's first of the year. Everybody's buzzing! It's Friday night. You going?" he grins again, punching my arm playfully. I make a little noncommittal noise. Christy coughs. "I don't think I am," she says, nudging my arm. "You know how his parties get." The little 'I'm-better-than-that' goes unsaid - but understood - as she flips her hair over her shoulder. Harry cocks an eyebrow.

"Really? I would've taken you for a party girl."

She narrows her eyes and takes a half-step towards Harry. I step in before a full out fight starts. "I mean, I'm probably not going," I say, but my voice wavers. Harry's expression turns into a defeated one. "Aw, but Lou!"

"I dunno yet."

Harry glances up at a clock on the wall. "I've gotta get going. Niall's my ride and he's gonna kill me if I'm any later." He smiles at me. "Talk to you later, Lou."

"Bye, Harry…"

He turns and walks away, giving a little wave over his shoulder. I turn and walk beside Christy, who seems pretty eager to leave. She scrunches her eyebrows together as we walk. "I can't stand him," she blurts angrily.

"Harry? Really? Why not?"

She looks at me like I'm insane. "You seriously haven't heard anything about that jerk?"

"I'm not big into gossip."

"He's a player. He seriously just uses girls, bangs ‘em and moves onto the next. He's not the nice guy you think he is. Harry's dangerous. I could tell you more, but I don't wanna ruin his angelic image."

“Tell me.”

We're at my car now, so I take the driver's side and she slides into the passenger's seat. Christy presses her mouth into a thin line. "So there's all that. I've heard he got Annabelle Parks pregnant junior year, but she moved away so I dunno for sure. And that she was the third or fourth girl he knocked up. Plus he always gets wasted at parties like Niall's and gets in huge fights. He nearly killed Kyle Morris once, punched him in the head and shoved him in a pool. He smokes pot and God knows what else- Darren said Harry and a few other guys all did at the last party he went to back in September. He-”
