Chapter Eight:

Sophi's POV:

I woke to the feeling of gentle kisses on my back. I slowly opened my eyes and turned around, facing Snake. I ran my fingers down his chest, feeling every inch of his toned muscles.

"Good morning," I said with a small smile.

"Good morning princess," he said before kissing me gently.

I blushed and hid my face in his chest.

"Hey Snake?"

"Hmm?"

I looked up at him and bit my lip, "You uh, don't see me any differently do you?"

"Should I?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

I sighed, "I don't know. I mean, don't most guys think of a girl as a slut if she sleeps with him almost immediately?"

Snake scoffed, "I'm not like most guys."

"I know Snake. I just- I don't know. I don't want you to ditch. I know that makes me sound completely pitiful but I just don't want that to happpen."

"I'm not going to think of you any differently or leave," Snake reassured me.

I nodded. I then relized that I was still completely nude and exposed. I pulled the blanket around me to cover myself, my face burned.

"You're absoletly perfect Sophi. Every part of you is beautiful. You don't need to hide yourself," Snake said, softly.

"I'm just not the most confident in my body Snake," I confessed looking at him, "I've always struggled with it. You can't even begin to imagine what I've gone through struggling with it."

He tucked a piece of hair behind my ear, "Why don't you tell me? I want to know every thing about you and every side of you."

I sat up in bed, keeping the blanket wrapped around me.

"When I was in 9th grade my mother put me in private school. It was a really fancy school and every one there had money. My family wasn't poor but they weren't the new money kind. They didn't buy all the newest things like all the people I went to school with. But that's besides the point. I noticed that I didn't fit in with everyone with how I looked."

"What do you mean?" Snake asked, "Don't you wear a uniform in private school?"

I nodded, "Yes. But it seemed like every one's uniform fit better than mine. I hated how fat I had gotten since moving to the south. So I decided I wasn't going to eat and I would just lose weight that way. I got down to about 90 pounds before my brother really started to notice that I wouldn't actually eat during dinners and stuff. I went through a lot of counseling and everything. Finally I got to a weight where people thought I was progressing and they didn't have to worry about me so much. Though my brother still calls me every other day to check up on me. I still just struggle. Sometimes I have days where I think I'm too fat and I will starve myself."

By the time I was finished Snake was sitting beside me, loosely holding my hand. He leaned over and kissed my shoulder.

"Well if it helps any I think you're perfect, like I said before. But if you ever feel down, just let me know. I'm here whenever and however you need me," he said.

I smiled at him, "Thanks Snake."

We sat there in silence for a moment.

"I'd really hate to ruin this moment but I do have to get ready for work," I said, giving Snake an apologetic look.

"It's okay," he said, "why don't you take a shower and I'll fix us something to eat."

"Okay, thanks Snake," I said, giving him a quick kiss before dashing to the bathroom.
