Chapter 1 : On the run

I could hear my heart beating fast through my ears, pounding out as if my chest was ready to burst as I continue to push myself to run. They were catching up to me.

One had shifted behind me and was trying to bite my left hind leg but I dodge by making a swift turn by the lake and into the Golden moon pack territory. They growl loudly before turning around to leave.

I shifted behind a tree before walking out in light skinny jeans,a white long sleeve v-neck, and black vans. I had my backpack filled with $5000 cash, clothes, phone, and documents I may need.I walked onto the busy street making my way to a Starbucks across the street. People were giving me curious stares and looks.

I walked into the store and surprisingly it was empty, only a group of girls in the back. I walked up to guy behind the counter.

"Can I have a cotton candy frappe in small?" I asked "Sure.that will be $4.67." he said while he start the order. I placed a 5 dollar bill on the counter and wait for my drink. I began to eavesdrop on the girls conversation. " He was cute, too bad he was not interested in anyone." "Yeah he still believes that his mate is out there waiting for him " Who's he? I was so engrossed into their conversation that I did not realize the guy was asking me for my name to be put on the cup.

" Sorry, it's Maddie." I said and he only nodded getting out a sharpie market and writing my name on it before handing the drink to me.

I walked out the store and begin walking down . I was so lost in my train of thoughts that I didn't see 2 guys making there way over to me with a black sleek car pulled up next to them. They grab me with so much hostility that I drop my Starbucks , I cried internally.

"Knock her out we don't want her to see where we are going." says the red head who had nice brown eyes. I felt a sharp pain at my head before I went unconscious.

Now

I woke up on a cold steel ground, I must been in a cell. I started to scan my surroundings seeing how there are one bed with only a blanket no mattress and a bucket in a corner between the sink and toilet.

"You're awake. I don't have time to deal with someone irrelevant as you. The alpha will be here soon." a green eyed with brown hair says. His jaw was sharp and pointy that it reminded me of Phineas nose .

"Who are you anyway?" I spoke under my breath. "I am the third command , Tyler." he said with a smirk. I wanted to say something , but before I could the door opened. I smell something so good it smelled like minty chocolate .

"Mate..mate.." My wolf, Sierra howled. That then I realized the person I smell was the terrifying alpha of the golden moon pack, Elliot Carter.

A loud growl of "mine" echoed through the room, he started making his way to me but before he got to me, I blacked out.
