"Dr Grady, you said you had a breakthrough with the incubation period?" Dr Wu asks his best friend,colleague and brother in law.
"Yes Henry usually it would take us 3 months but I have found a way for it to take only 13 weeks." Dr Grady says as they both head out of the lab and towards the entrance.
"It's truly marvelous John, it truly is." Dr Wu says as Dr Grady looks down.
"What's wrong John?" Dr Wu asks concerned.
"It's my son, Barrett, the illness has gotten worse he can't even open his eyes now, me and Su are worried for him." Dr Grady says as he is about to cry.
"His birthday was yesterday right, his sixth birthday." Dr Wu says as they see Su, Wu's sister and John's wife, they also see Barrett in her arms, sleeping.
"How are you feeling Henry?" Su asks hers brother.
"Fine but it would be better if my nephew could see." Dr Wu says as he pats his nephew's head.
"Yes but we can't get everything in life." Su says as they look at their son.
"Their might be a way to save him, but it will cost him his humanity." Dr Wu says as they look at him.
"Project Wyvern, I have been running some tests on it and it could work we ju-" Dr Wu is cut off by laser sights aimed at them.
"Hands in the air now!" One of them shouts.
"Henry how long do you need?" Dr Grady asks.
"5-7 minutes tops, why?" Dr Wu asks.
"Take care of my little Star." Dr Grady says as he throws a cryogenic canister at them and runs off in one direction while Su,Henry and Barrett in another.
In the laboratory.
"Henry is their any side effects of this project?" Su asks worriedly for her son.
"Their are a few side effects but he will still be human, just having blue skin is the most physical." Dr Wu says.
"Physical what's that supposed to mean?" Su asks as they hear gunshots.
"I wish I could've told the both of you the side effects, I really do, but it works." Dr Wu says as he sets Barrett down and hooks some suckers on him.
"Where is he going?" Su asks scared.
"Towards experiment 176." Dr Wu says as he sees Su lock the door behind her and just looks at her son and Wu.
"Su, Su don't do this, Barrett needs a mother, you can't leave him." Dr Wu tries to reason with his sister, but she was always the kind who was fixated on what her heart wanted.
"He has you Henry, take care of our little Star." Su says as she runs off to find John.
Dr Wu then hears Barrett wake up gasping.
"What happened where are mommy and daddy?" Barrett asks confused.
"Their on a trip but don't worry I will take care of you until they return, that's a promise." Dr Wu says as he held his nephew and sat down until InGen security busted through the door.
"Dr Wu are you alright?" One of them asks.
"Yes I am, but what about Dr Grady?" Wu asks.
"I'm sorry but you might wanna leave the kid behind to see what happened." He says as Wu knew what happened and he just sat back down and looked at his nephew and saw his eyes change from a dark blue to a lightning blue.
