We got in the flight and because I was with Zac it was pretty uncomfortable , actually you know what I don't even wanna talk about that flight because It was boring as fuck.

We were both silent throughout the whole flight minding our own businesses until he broke the silence with his awkward convo.

"Y/n-"

"Yes Zac?"

"Do you really not remember what happened The night you met me in the club? "

Well I knew it totally! How could I forget it? I told him I'll wait and then I escalated myself to my house . Now , God knows how did I reach my home back cause I was literally so drunk but now that I'm sober I thought to myself. Telling him that 'yes I do remember ' would be so hard.

"Umh no Zac, I don't. But why are you asking me this? Is there something I should know?"

"No,no,no. I was just asking "

Caught him lying, what even am I saying when I'm the one who lied first .

As lauren was not coming with us we didn't have any other place to stay so we booked 2 rooms in a hotel, yes they had 2 and not 1 like they have in movies where 2 people have to share the room and they end up fuc- Shut up y/n control.

I was really really bored, cause the whole time I way scrolling through my phone so I decided to go out on a walk.

I was gonna go to the receptionist to ask her some more details about this hotel but-

No, I didn't. God tell me I didn't see what I was supposed to see
It was Jace-

Wh-why is he here? Is this a coincidence or what? No,no it is totally a coincidence don't overthink too much y/n.

His eyes met mine and the way he looked at me felt like a dagger in my heart . He was walking towards me but then and with every step he took my heart beated rapidly

When I suddenly felt some weight on my shoulders and I turned to look around it was Zac who came from behind.

What the hell is going on someone please save me, I'm blocked by Zac from my right side and Jace is standing at a distance on my left side .

"Y/n" Jace was saying but was cut by Zac

"Y/n, I'm so so sorry if I have done anything wrong but don't ignore me, i want this awkwardness between us to get over so that we can go back to how we were "

What the hell Zac why did you say that , because clearly I know you're asking me as a friend but from Jace's pov it clearly seems as if your my boyfriend who is trying to makeup for his fight with me.

"Uh, umh , no wait , I gotta go" I passed through Zac and then went over to the ladies bathroom.

I went over to the mirror and splashed some cold water all over my face , yes I needed this after what happened back there. It was so awkward and uncomfortable.

But then I heard the door open and then someone locked it, I turned just to look back who it was. It was Jace. Yes it was him.

"Hi, it's been so long " he said while he hugged me, the hug was so tight and comforting at the same time but  then he had to break it "how have you been?".

"Hi, umh I've been well since a long time " I fake laughed.

"I know you are lying y/n"

"N-"

"But anyways, what happened back there? Is he your new boyfriend? " He cutted me off with this sentence which made a harsh impact for me, my heart was aching .

"No, he isn't my boyfriend and even if he was you shouldn't care" Ouch I hated saying that.

"Woah, calm down i- I do ca-"

"What do you want Jace, please be a bit straightforward " I cutted him off with this.

"I don't want anything, I just saw you randomly and thought maybe I could've have just said you hi" as he said This he started walking out the door and after reaching outside the door he turned back and said "Well sorry for being a pain in the ass".

I felt that hit hard , cause earlier I wasn't so sure about him but now, I am yes I really am sure.

"Wait" I said while running outside the door

"What y/n? Do you need my help or something? "

"No I don't need your help Jace , but I did want to tell you that you are so fuckin stupid, how can you expect me to believe you when you said ' I just saw you randomly' stop lying "

"Y/n- Well yes it wasn't random and yes I knew you were gonna be here . So what? It's not like you care or something! "
