Camila POV
After Dinah gave me that small pep talk we went to the front of the bus where Normani and Ally were. Dinah updated me on how close to Miami we are; two hours. It made me relieved at how little we have to travel left.
"Mila! Thank god you're finally awake!" Normani exclaimed, jumping up from her seat on the couch. I smiled at her and nodded.
"I thought Dinah was hard to wake up." Ally butted in with a chuckle. Mani and I joined in, only to get a smack on the arm by Dinah.
"Don't be like that DJ, you know we looooove you." I told her, drawing out love. She smiled and put her arm around my shoulder. Ally and Mani laughed at out friendship as Dinah and I fought our way to the fridge.
"Girls!" Our bus driver shouted, adding a small chuckle at the end. Dinah and I looked at each other before bursting into laugher.
Lauren POV
My body froze, nothing seemed to matter anymore. I felt the muscles in my body tighten.
4 Settings? At our school? Does that mean she'll be here?
"Laur? Are you okay?" Demi asked, grabbing my forearm before I fell. This is too much to process. I would see her again. "Lauren?" Demi asked, with more force than before.
"Yeah... I'm here." I let out, pulling my forearm from her grip. "I'll meet you inside." I told her, motioning towards the school.
She nodded, but kept a close eye on me as she walked away. Once she was out of sight I pulled out my phone and looked up 4 Settings on Google. The first thing that popped up was '4 Settings is putting their career on hold to go back to school.' I click on the link and scroll through the article that was posted.
'According to sources, 4 Settings is said to be putting their career and upcoming album on hold to go back to Miami where they will finish high school. Camila Cabello of 4 Settings also told one of our sources that they'll be arriving April 14th. Say tuned for more!'
Butterflies erupted in my stomach at the mention of Camila. I've never felt anything like this before...
Well, there was your first kiss.
