*violet's pov*

I flicked the indicator on before I hesitantly turned.

I exhaled slowly. With fog so thick you could cut knife through it, it was slightly terrifying.

Although, i pushed the worry to the back of my mind. I gently hummed along to misfits as I drove along the winding road.

I raked a hand through my tangled black hair, it was late.. at least 2am.

I grew tiresome but I kept my eyes peeled, you couldn't have me not paying attention.

Before I knew it my eyes came in contact with blinding headlights. Without even thinking I swerved out of the cars path.

The next thing I knew was the airbag coming too late. I slammed my rib cage into the steering wheel and my head came in contact with it too.

The seatbelt proven not to be as effective as promised.

Not much had I remembered before falling into a dark abyss.

I awoke from the sound of my car horn. I'm not sure how long I had passed out for but I palmed my forehead trying to relive the pain.

The hazes had taken over and I gathered only little inspections of the situation.

I had driven my car into a ditch and the headlights were flashing manically.

I took my hand away from my head since it began too throb quite rapidly.

My hand was covered in crimson, I felt the unpleasant substance drip down the side of my face.

I shuddered and wiped the remaining blood on my bare leg

Resulting in that swift turn I had toppled into a ditch and half my windows screen had shattered with a large crack along it.

Panic rose to my chest and I began heavily breathing. I gasped as the pain shot along the left of my rib cage.

I scrunched my eyes closed and attempted calming my breathing. I gripped onto the seat with my right hand and lifted my shirt up with my left.

I leant forward to inspect the damage, bruising had already risen. No blood, I hesitantly touched the area with my index and middle finger.

I soon regretted it, dropping the hem of my shirt and hissing in pain.

I sunk back into my seat and glanced in my rear mirror. The other car appeared to have spun into a nearby tree.

"Fuck!" I yelled, panicking again.

I dived my hand in my bag, ignoring the violent pain in my chest. I punched in '911'' as fast a I could.

They answered straight away, the operator went through the normal presedure "which emergency service do you request"

"ambulance" i barely choked out.

i was put through to one of their call-takers "what is the emergency and you're location?"

I choked out an assumption of the incident in one word "car accident", I almost yelled out the whereabouts.

"We have sent an ambulance and it's on it's way, it won't be too long.. 10 minuets or so. The importance is too stay calm." the irritatingly soothing voice told me on the other line.

"Thank you" I rather bluntly uttered, hanging up and throwing my phone on the seat.

I checked the rear mirror for the car. They can't die on me, it'll be my fault. How could I possibly handle that guilt.

I ripped my seatbelt off and unlocked the door. I stumbled out rather un ladylike but I wasn't the main priority at this moment.

I fell on my hands and knees and clutched my waist with one arm.

Pain shattered through my ribs and I felt like I was going to vomit but I got back up.

I managed to run over to the car, not even bothering to look left and right as I ran across the road. Not that I could see further than a few meters, due to the accident prone weather.

The whole front of the car had been crushed and moulded around the tree in front.

One headlight only shone the other stone cold. I looked through the window a faulty airbag, which failed to explode.

The driver had his head collapsed onto the wheel.

I ripped open the door and slid into the passenger seat.

I took hold of his shoulders and sat him up. His head dropped too his shoulder as i attempted to keep him upright.

Panic reserved what felt like a permanent place in my stomach.

I brushed his fringe out of his eyes, there was a large gash on the side of his head. Dry blood had spilled across the side if his tanned face.

I cupped his jaw "fuck, fuck, fuck" I repeated. I slapped the side of his cheek gently, trying to awake him.

He had a obvious pulse but he wasn't waking "don't die on me" I desperately pleaded.

The familiar screech of the ambulance sirens began to sing, I helplessly tried to stabilise his neck to prevent spinal injury.

I leaped out of the car just as the ambulance came to a halt. Two paramedics ran out to the rescue.

"He won't wake up" I cried with tears in my eyes.

A man ran to his car and his woman colleague wrapped her arm around my shoulder.

"It's all going to be okay, we're here to help" the blonde lady with a clean cut fringe reassured me.

"What about the other car?" she turned to my car.

"That's my car, it's just me" i trembled.

She turned back to face me and brushed her fingers over my forehead. She held a tiny torch to it and inspected the cut.

"That's quite a gash you got there" she mumbled.

"A little help?" the other man yelled.

The yellow hoodied boy lay on the road as the paramedic held his neck in position.

The boys arm was sprawled out across the road lifelessly but the lady soon returned it too his side.

They stabilised the boys neck and carefully lifted him onto a stretcher.

I felt a little relieved but I still was sick with apprehension. I stumbled to the side of the road and emptied my stomach.

Too soon the paramed was back at my side with a hand on my back.

I shuddered at the whole situation, I just wanted to get home.

"I'm fucking fine" I hissed through the pain. He was in what critical condition and she's harassing me.

"Look sunshine, you might think your okay but we've got to tend your wound and whatever other possible injuries you may have"

"No, no, no" I rambled to myself and turned to face my car but I wasn't getting home in that.

I turned back to the lady apologising under my breath, I would be surprised if she even heard.

She smiled and lead me too the back of the ambulance. Her arm slung across my shoulders as we approached the ambulance, both doors wide open.

here's the first chapter, cool. I tried my hardest to write part 1/3 of the hospital/crash scene.
