Beep Beep the chime of my alarm clock seemed till I hit the snooze button. Sitting up i notice it's still dark out, I look at the clock and see that it's midnight. "That's weird.." I could have swore that I set my alarm for 6 not midnight. I take a quick look around my somewhat empty room "I might as well go back to sleep." I lay back down and close my eyes and try to fall back to sleep, but I get that same feeling again. The same feeling I felt in that field. I quickly sit up again and scan my room making sure I wasn't being watched. "*sigh* ok I'm not being watched, there's no one in here but you, your mind is just playing tricks with you.."

Taking a deep breath I lay back down, then I see it on my ceiling. A figure with reddish eyes emerged from my ceiling. *what the fuck! what the fuck! what the fuck!* I can't move, I felt stiff like a statue, I wanted to scream but when I tried nothing came out. I was stuck.

The figure got closer till it was close enough I could see it clearly in the moonlight. *This is going to be the end isn't it. This thing is going to kill me. There's no way out of this* I take one look at the monster then close my eyes accepting my fate..

Beep Beep...

I spring up breathing quickly and heavily like I just ran a mile marathon. I look around my room and especially my ceiling, finally coming to the conclusion that I wasn't dead. "That was just a nightmare." I look at my alarm clock. "Oh shit! I'm gonna be late for work", hopping out of bed, rushing my morning routine, and running out of my apartment.

Finally making it to my job, I hurry in and smooth out my suit trying to make it seem like I didn't just run 8 blocks here.

I get on the elevator and go up to my boss's office. Hoping he doesn't see me I go to my desk and pick up the work I was to complete yesterday. "Will this is the second time you've been late this week." I jump at the sound of his voice "oh..I-I'm sorry sir I haven't been getting enough sleep.." I stay focused on my work when I hear him get up from his seat. His footsteps echo as I hear him get closer to me. "Now, Will you know that, that is no excuse you being late." I feel his hand on my shoulders. "I'm sorry sir I swear it won't happen again" I try to get his hands off me but his grip got tighter "Yeah it better not happen again or you'll have to stay in later" I nod and try to go back to my work, but his grip gets even tighter. "Please let go of me" He finally let's go "Fine, also you have to sort the papers i told you sort yesterday." I nod and go back to my work.

~~~~~Time skip~~~~~
I look at the time on my phone, "Finally time to get home" I look over to my boss's desk, he's busy working on some papers. So I get up and take my bag, then make my way out of the big office. "Stop right there Will," I obey and turn to face my boss "Yes sir?", "Will, I told you that your staying a little after," "But I, you said if I was late again I'd have to stay.." "Not buts I said you're staying so your staying." I lowered my head in defeat and slowly made my way back to my desk, then I got back to work.
I finish my work and look at the time "Sir may I leave now" I turn and look at him. "No, I have more work for you to do." "Can't I just do that tomorrow, I'm really tired and I have to feed my cat and.." He shushes me. "Stop with the excuse William, I'll let you go home but you have to do something for me first." "And what is that," "I'll inform you about it tomorrow.." I see him smirk *oh no* "o-ok" I get up and take my bag."See you tomorrow Will~" "y-yeah see ya" I rush out of the office and head home. Once I get home I go right to my couch and turn on the TV not bothering to change into more comfortable clothes. I start to drift to sleep.
I woke up outside. It looked to be pitch black out with only the moon as a spotlight. I sit up feeling the grass under me. Looking around I notice that this place feels very familiar. I stand up and get a better view. *I'm back in the field again* I was in the same spot as I was the other night, standing right in front of that chair, but this time is different. I feel drawn to the chair. Out of curiosity I walk closer, and as I get closer I get a weird sensation like I have to sit in that chair. Once I get one step in front of the chair the world around me seems to disappear and the only thing left was that chair in a singular spot light. The chair seemed to have changed somehow, I was sure that there weren't any brownish red stains on it before. I reach out to touch the stains and another chill goes down my spine giving me the sign that I should run, but I don't. I don't know why. All I do instead of running is sit in the chair. Once I sat in the chair the world changed, but before I could've seen anything. I woke up on my couch in my apartment..
