Chapter 5: parents

Aria grabbed onto Ezra's hand, their hands had fit together like pieces of a puzzle. They walked next to each other, as they approached the limo. Ezra opened the door for her, like a gentleman. She sat down, and he slid into the seat next to her, as the limo started up.

She leaned into him and pushed him down onto the seat, and pressed her hands onto his cheeks. He put one hand on the top of her back, and the other onto her head, as he kissed her lips. She moved her hands down behind his neck. She pulled her fingers through his dark, locks. Ezra took off his jacket, and resumed kissing his fiancé. Aria began to unzip the back of her dress, as the limo came to a stop in front of the Montgomery household. Aria had forgotten about telling her parents, but Ezra knew she would want to at least see them before they headed back to their hotel for the night.

Aria sat up,and zipped up her dress. Ezra, got out of the limo, and opened the door for her, as she stepped out onto the driveway. They walked up to the front door of the Montgomery household. Aria played with her ring,nervous about how her parents would react to the news. Ezra rang the doorbell,and smiled at Aria. He took both of her hands, and squeezed them gently, he noticed how nervous she was. "It's ok, we can do this, it's not that big of a deal" he looked into at her eyes. She gave him a kiss on the cheek.

Ella answered the door, ecstatic to see her daughter. "Hi mom!" Aria said as a smile beamed across her face. "It's nice to see you again,Ezra" Ella said,smiling. Ezra flashed a smile at her. "You as well" he said, before Ella invited them to come inside.

Inside, Byron Montgomery was sitting on the couch. Aria began to play with her ring again,afraid of how her father will react,considering what happened the last time. "So, what brings you two here?" Ella asked,as she sat down next to Byron,who was reading the newspaper. "Oh well I'm actually on break right now, so we thought we would come and visit Rosewood" Aria said,in a cheerful tone.
Ella cleared her throat,and Byron put away his newspaper. "Mike, We have company,please come down and say hello!" Ella shouted up the stairs. Mike rushed down the stairs surprised to see both his sister,and Ezra sitting in the living room. "Mom, what's going on?" Mike asks, with a puzzled look on his face. "We just stopped by to say hello" Aria said. Mike nodded his head, and he sat down. "sup?" Mike said, and waved at Ezra.

Ezra reached for Aria's handle looked into her eyes, and nodded his head. "We have an announcement we'd like to make" Aria began,"First I'd like to say, that yes we are back together, and we have a house not too far from Talmadge" Aria said. "How lovely" Ella said," isn't that lovely dear?" She asked Byron. "It's,uh,yes it's nice" Byron said. "Cool" Mike said, not really caring that much.

"That's not all" Aria said, as she turned her head towards Ezra. Aria looked directly at her mother. "WE GOT ENGAGED!!!!!!!" Aria said, not able to hold in her excitement. Aria showed off her ring to her mother, who seemed to be excited. "Oh, it's such a beautiful ring" Ella stated,"I'm happy for the both you". "Congrats" mike said. He gave a high-five to Ezra, and hugged his sister. "Can I go back to my room now?" Mike asked. "Sure" Byron said.
"I'm sorry we couldn't stay any longer,but it's getting a little late" Ezra said. Aria whined a bit,and then looked over at the clock. 10:22 p.m. "Bye sweetie" Ella said,and brought Aria into a hug. "I'm sorry we couldn't stay for long, but we have to fly back home tomorrow, we only came up here for the day" Aria said to her mother.

They waved goodbye to Byron, and exited the house, and got back inside of the limo. The limo dropped them off at their hotel for the night.

Ezra zipped up his suitcase, and woke up Aria. "It's time to go back home,Aria" Ezra said sweetly,laying down in bed next to her. "What time is it?" Asked Aria, who was only half-awake.
"Ten-thirty" Ezra replied. Aria jumped out of bed,and saw that she must've laid out her outfit for the plane trip last night. She quickly got ready, as she threw on a cream-colored sweater,and a pair of galaxy leggings. She French braided her hair off to the right side,and applied just a touch of make-up "not too subtle,it's just enough" Aria said to herself as she looked into the mirror. She finished packing her suitcase,and put on a pair of black ballet flats. "Are you hungry?" Ezra asked her. "Yeah, I'm starving, let's go eat!" Aria said, dragging her suitcase towards the door. "Ok,I called a bellhop to come take our suitcases for us, and we can meet him downstairs after we eat some breakfast" Ezra said,making sure Aria was listening to him. "Ok let's go then!" Aria said.

They arrived at the airport and checked their bags. After they went through security, they went to their gate,and waited until they could board. In just minutes, they were already on the plane. "I love you" Aria said, as she tucked her head under his chin, and grabbed hold of his left arm. "I love you,too" Ezra said, stroking Aria. Their plane landed in just a few hours.
