I was getting ready for school 'cause it's the first day. Last week lang kami nagpa-enroll before the school has started. Zia will be going with me to school kasi magkaklase rin naman kami.
"Talia, hija?! Are you getting ready for school?" I heared Mom's shout from the living room.
I don't know with my Mom, why does she likes to shout from the living room to my room.
Instead of doing it, she shouted from living room just to talk to me.
"Manong Rene is ready, hija." She softly mumbled.
"Yes, Mom. I'll be there in a sec."
I immediately put in the small tiny bag the small things of my school stuff. Like pencil, ballpen, ruler, and etc. Ayoko kasi ng makalat na backpack when going to school.
Even in my room, I'm so organized with my things. My bag has space for my laptop since I can access the school's wifi during break.
"Are you ready?" Mom looked at me smiling.
The way she asked me like, I'm some kind of a kinder student who's excited to go to school. When in fact, I wasn't ready on going to school yet.
The time there tick so fast, Zia and I got confused of how the time tick so fast.
Spain is a very nice place to go. We enjoyed our stay there for a couple of weeks. We got to places using our map kasi hindi naman namin gamay ang Spain.
"Mom... You're treating me like I was a kindergarten kid who gets excited to go to school." Pagmamaktol ko.
"Aren't you?" Nakataas ang kilay na sabi niya.
"Of course not! I'm a 3rd year College student, Mom." I rolled my eyes. "Anyways, I'll be eating in school nalang. Kami ni Zianna."
"Okay, darling. Do you want cash?"
"I'm good, Mom."
I went inside the car and Manong Rene went to Zia's house since along the way lang to out of the subdivision. I saw Zia waiting for me outside alone.
"Hey... Good morning." I greeted.
She gave me a smile. "Morning..."
The way she approached me. Her face is kinda sad or what. Or may ibang dahilan?
"Parents?" I asked and she nodded.
She is an only child at palaging kasambahay lang nila ang kasama niya. Her parents is always out of town because of their business. Hindi na siya nabibigyan ng time to spend together as a family.
