Dear Diary,
Have you ever loved so much, you would kill? I feel truly terrible for those in this world who would say no. Love gives you a purpose, a reason to live another day, this is why we welcome the clouds of love in our minds. The heavier the mists of love, the clearer the thoughts. Those who follow their head are deemed intelligent by our society, they are pawns in their master's games, never willing to take a risk. Therefore they may be sacrificed; the loss of a pawn means nothing at all if it wins you your opponents King.
Those who follow their hearts are deemed the dangers to society. True in some senses, they are willing to take a risk that could end up costing them, therefore they are a danger on the board. Their value is indispensable, like that of a bishop or even a queen. They are relentless and their decisions could win you the game, a brilliant alliance. For the opposing team however, they are a threat like no other. They know no bounds so their risks come with great costs to everyone involved.
An opponent who has nothing to loose is the most dangerous of all opponents. So believe me when I say I have nothing to loose and everything to gain.
The catch in the throat whenever one of her delicate slippered feet glide into the room, the fluttering in the head when a mere conversation is struck between us, it all suggests the same thing. Love. This love that clouds my mind has enlightened me to posses the clearest of thoughts. I understand what I must do, I understand the risks and what it could cost me, but it is simply a price I am more than willing to pay.
Love has changed me, and I see now I am all the better for it. My opponents in this brilliant game, well, regrettably the same cannot be said for them. I truly am sorry, but needs must.
Signed yours truly, x
