"Why are you not enjoying this?"

Jojo's day didn't get any better after Mani had fled his dorm. Messages had been sent to him on his phone, asking if everything was ok, had he done anything wrong? They were showing that they had been read, but left unanswered. Jojo couldn't understand it. What did Mani mean by the smell? And why was he asking about Teddy? Well, maybe he could get some answers from his roommate…

Jojo turns around in his desk chair when he hears the door open, with Teddy walking in. He drops his bag on the floor by the foot of his bed. "Hey Teddy...can I ask you something?..."

Teddy just stays there, as if frozen. Jojo watches as Teddy's nose seems to twitch. Nostrils flaring. "Mate." He growls low under his breath. His eyes now fall onto Jojo. "You.".

"What?" Jojo says, a little unnerved at the way Teddy was looking at him.

"You….it's you!" Teddy says, his voice a little louder this time as he walks over to Jojo in his seat, making Jojo stand up and back himself against the wall, knocking the lamp from his desk in the process.

Teddy now tower's over Jojo, making him shrink in on himself. "Wh...what are you doing Teddy?" He asks nervously.

Teddy again closes his eyes, his nostrils flaring like crazy. He then opens his eyes, making Jojo gasp. Teddy's eyes looked different from before. They were blue. A strange deep blue which Jojo felt his own eyes drawn to, out of intrigue and curiosity more than anything else. "How did I not see?" Teddy begins.

"See...what?" Jojo asks, still feeling cautious as he can't seem to draw his eyes away from Teddy's gaze.

"You are my mate." Teddy says, now taking his hands to Jojo's wrists and pinning them over his head against the wall.

"Uh...yes...I guess.
We're roommates." Jojo stammers with a nervous laugh.

"Don't play games with me. You know what I mean." Teddy says, his words seemed almost like a growl. But still made no sense to Jojo, who was now beginning to panic.

"Teddy, I swear I don't know what you mean!" Jojo says, his voice now sounding shrill and making Teddy jerk his head a little as the high pitch hit his ears.

"You said I stank yesterday. But I know you really loved it. You can't deny me. I blame humankind. They have masked you from me with their potions." Teddy deduces, before taking his tongue to Jojo's lips and licking over them.''

"Uuurhwhat the fuck Teddy!" Jojo protests as Teddy proceeds to lick all over Jojo's face. He then suddenly stops and looks once again at Jojo, whose face was screwed up in a grimace.

"Why are you not enjoying this? You're my mate." Teddy says looking confused.

"Roommate Teddy, fucking roommate!" Jojo shouts in Teddy's face. "Let me go!" He begins to wriggle and writhe in the stronghold Teddy has him in, with Teddy finally letting go, but he still wasn't convinced that Jojo was telling the truth.

"Change." He demands, as Jojo now slides along the wall to get away from him, finally locating his tennis racket and holding it up in defence.

"What are you? Some kind of dirty pervert?" Jojo says under a fretful laugh. "I'm armed." Jojo raises the racket up over his head, as if to strike.

Teddy looks at the sports equipment being held up and with one swift move of his hand, he slashes through the woven strands. "My racket!" Jojo shouts. " How did you?..."

But he stops his words when he sees Teddy slowly but surely begin to shift and morph into something other than a human being. His clothes begin to strain and tear against the changes occuring, eventually falling away,  as Jojo very soon bares witness to a dog...no, not a dog. A wolf. A pure white wolf with ice blue eyes.

Jojo feels paralysed as he takes in the beast, now growling low before barking loudly. The sudden noise makes Jojo jump, he drop the rendered useless racket on the floor. "D...don't kill me." Jojo squeaks out, too afraid to speak any louder in case he provoked it.

The wolf pads closer to Jojo, now sniffing at his legs, before letting out a few whimpers. He didn't know why, but Jojo suddenly felt a tinge of sadness hit him. He dares to hold out a hand, slowly at first and reaches out to touch the white fur on the animal's head, but the beast's whimpers suddenly change to a bark, making Jojo once again retract his hand in fright.

The white wolf then turns away from him completely and heads for the door. It gets onto its hind legs, scrabbling at the door handle, managing to get it open, before heading out to leave.

Jojo is left stood alone in the room, trying to come to terms with what had just happened to him. He looked at the torn clothing on the floor which Teddy was wearing and he knew. He couldn't believe it, but he knew that his roommate was some kind of shape-shifting wolf.
