Chapter 26 Mysterious mob

Roman was now getting paranoid, Ryan didn't answer him, his call got disconnected before he could say anything else, now he could not reach for his phone. Ryan was the only person who cared for him after his family.
" I'll go after him and check whether he is fine or not." Roman announced while walking to his car.
" No. You can't go back there, we just got saved." Evan said holding Roman's hand to stop him.
" No, i can't leave him there alone, I shouldn't have left him alone when he is the only one who never left when i was alone." Roman said almost whispered the last part to himself.
" Well, then if you go back there his favor on you, will be in vain. Wait for him he will come here." Evan tried to convince him.
" You know, i hate to say this but the lawyer might be right. He is Ryan Wesley." Ace said after a while of watching the men in the lobby of his hotel.
" This is not a fight. He don't have any weapons on him, he can't save himslef." Roman said.
" I never knew you cared so much for me." Ryan's voice came from behind them.
There he was leaning on the wall with legs crossed and a signature smirk on his face. Roman hated him so much right now.
" I fucking hate you. Why were you not answering my calls ?"
" I was driving. "
" You were driving." Roman looked at him angrily.
" Geez relax i am fine and left a little gift for you in the police station." He referred the last part to Evan.
" You lead them to the nearest police station, fucking brilliant." Evan replied which a big smile on his face like a kid finding his candy.
" Well, I am glad to hear that. Shall we start ?" Ace said.
Everyone nodded at each other and walked inside the room. A girl in short maid dress came with a glass of Whisky for each men in the room. Ace signalled his men to wait outside. After all the men left leaving the four men in the room they started their meeting.
" So, where do we start ?" Evan asked.
" Ace, you want me to train your men, for what ?" Ryan asked.
" Okay, you don't talk about this to anyone. The Italian don wants to have my territory, I had a meeting with him once in which he told me that he will come for me. This started 2 months ago when one of my shipments went missing, they were worth millions, We tried to find it but we couldn't, at least not in America. "
" You mean he stole it." Roman asked.
" Yes, beacuse later i found that the deal of same products were made with Russians that they sold to us."
" You mean selling their products to them." Ryan asked.
" Didn't they notice it ? I mean i am sure they recognize their own products. " Evan asked.
" Yes, they did and that's how i got to know about the deal. Americans and Russians were always loyal to each other in the terms of exchange. "
" Did you ever confornt to the Don about this ?" Roman asked.
" You mad ?! If i know that they made a deal with my products it's obvious they stole my shipments. There is no question about it."
" Today those guys that attacked us, they didn't look like in your gang."
" Well, it maybe a small mob or something."
" They had snipers, really ?"
" He has got a point, I mean how many small gangs are tgere in America with snipers and guns ?" Evan said.
" See, what i mean to say is what if there is someone who is influenced the Don into this. "
" He is going to lie, if you directly ask him." Evan said.
" You are very quiet, Ryan what do you think ?"
" Call him right now and check what's going on. " Ryan said.

Ace rolled his eyes and fished his phone from his jacket and made a call to the only person on earth whom he hates the most.
" You have balls. " After 2 minutes of complete silence the don spoke.
" Did you steal my shipment ?" Ace asked codly.
" Did I steal your shipment? seriously, After doing the deed yourself you ask me that question. when I should be the one to ask."
" What do you mean ?"
" I mean that after ypu stole my shipment a month ago how dare you call me and blame everything on me ?" On this statement everyone in the room made a confused face.
" I did not do any such thing." Ace replied.
" Well, The boys that you sent said that you really thought that you would send your men in my country in my home and we won't know about it."
" I did not send anyone. Infact 2  months ago you first stole my shipment and then made a deal with Russians selling them their products. I am glad that i at least have one loyal partner."
" Nonsense, i did not steal any of your shipment."
" The boys you caught; ask them, who really sent them." Ryan said after hearing their conversation.
" Who is that ?" His voice echoed in the room.
" My colleague. Do as he says fir now and get back to me. someone is trying to start a war. And I don'tlike it. " Ace said and ended the call.
" This is not one person, it is a group. One person cannot do all these things." Ryan said.
" I'll send my men to the coast, see what is happening there. The boys were Americans then this is someone from my territory threatening me indirectly. I hate when these little cockroaches go behind my back. I'll fucking crush them."
" Evan, you interrogate those who are arrested today, find their real identity they might be from the same group who is doing all this. Roman you keep in touch with him and find all the details on the men as fast as you can. I will check the cameras across the state and find something."
Everyone in the room nodded. They understood their respective jobs. They knew they have to work together inorder to find the ultimate killer and finish him. Ryan also had one more doubt in jis mind that he didn't want to come true. If behind all this is Jhon. Then he has other things coming his way. And if he is not then how did he find out that Alexa was with him. Who told him ? Is it someone from the security or he spotted her with him afterall he took Alexa every where with him and never once left her alone. They all went nack to their respective cars while walking he told Roman about the note he found in his car, that Jhon knows Alexa is with him to which Roman replied that they will find a way to keep her safe and away from him after they deal with this problem.
