Natapos naman namin yung case presentation niya, natapos ko din yung part niya sa trans, nabigay ko na rin yun sa trans committee.
"Review na," agad kong sinabi.
"Ang daya," he stopped kissing me, I even heard a soft groan. "Coffee?"
"Yeah, thanks," I pushed him so we'll stand up.
Buong second sem wala kaming halos ginawa kung hindi mag-aral, even our grocery runs, we were reading.
"Ilan nga lecturer natin sa LE two ng pedia?"
"Four lecturers, yung unang topic ata twenty points lang siya, then tig-thirty points na yung ibang mga doctor," sagot niya. "Why?"
"Wala naman, okay yung quiz natin diba?"
"Yeah, yung Psychiatry 2 ba kailan exam doon? Walang sched sa notion."
"Sabi TBA daw reply ni Doctora, ewan lang kung next week talaga, may isang lecturer na hindi nakapag-discuss diba?" kahit ako medyo may alinlangan sa boses ko.
"Pero nag-upload si Louisse, may pre-recorded naman na si Dra. Natividad, so tuloy na yang next week?"
"Anong oras mo nakita?" tanong ko.
"Around 1 am, sabi ng trans com by eight pm uploaded na yung trans mamaya."
"Shit, sabay-sabay na naman sila."
"Yeah," he heaved a sigh, deeply. "No fighting, please?"
"Grabe ka, hindi naman kita inaaway ah."
He chuckled, sexily. "Last LE, hindi ka namamansin."
"Excuse me? Your fault, hindi mo ako ginising," tumaas pa yung kilay ko.
"Because for three days, you only had two hours of sleep, I just don't want you to collapse. And besides, you passed that exam."
"Whatever, Samonte," I mocked him.
"Whatever, Mrs. Samonte," he even winked. This damn guy!
Just like last year, everything went by like an eclipse. It was like we hanged on a thread, but luckily we all finished it without thinking of quitting or passing a leave of absence note to the dean's office.
"Baby, what about we try to be a Pathologist," I suggested, I even moved my brows to convince him.
"That would be boring for me, I mean I'll stay in the Lab? Reading slides? No patients?"
"You'll have," I said lowly, I even chuckled.
"What? Dead bodies? For autopsy? And it's so rare that patients who died undergo autopsy," he uttered. "Why Pathology anyway?"
"Well, there's no patients or relatives who'll nag," I murmured. "I don't like people that much."
"You just hate them when they're talkative," he pointed out. "But, if you want that, okay, I'll support you."
"On second thought, I think I'll go crazy without talking," I sighed profusely. There was a long silence between us, he was patiently waiting for me to speak or even mumble. "Pediatrics, I'll go with that," I smiled with the finality of my decision.
"Okay," he snaked his arm around my waist, slowly pulling me to be close to him. "You'll be a good pediatrician."
"You think?"
