My mind was going crazy at the moment. My anxiety had my heart racing as I waited for Fredo to show up with Payton. A part of me was relieved that Payton was good but the other part of me was going crazy because I still didn't have Leah or even knew where she was at.
"Daddy"I heard Payton's voice causing me to stop in my tracks turning my attention towards the door where she came in running straight towards me. Taking her in the biggest hug I held her tight not wanting to let her go.
"Baby girl I'm so happy your home"I kissed the top of her head feeling a tear slide down my cheek.
A parent's worst nightmare is having something happen to your children and not being able to protect them and right now I was living that nightmare.

"Fuck we waiting for? Let's fucking go! We can't waste no time because if they know she escaped it's only a matter of time before they either move her or kill her"Bibby said walking out the room causing us to follow him
"Buckz we gotta have a game plan and get our peoples together. We can't go in there blindsided because who knows who the fuck these niggas are"

We had to be careful because it wasn't just out lives at stake but Leah's too and I couldn't risk fucking shit up and causing my daughter her life.

I turned back going over to Payton. Before I did anything else I need to get her to the safe house.
