Dawn POV

"You kissed?" Kaitlyn whisper-screams from the corner of the classroom.

"Yes! Now be quiet about it! He's not here right now but other people can hear!" I tell her and she rolls her eyes.

"More than once?" I look around and then nod my head.

"And you liked it?" She asks and I nod.

"He liked it?" Another nod.

"And then he left."

"Yes Kait. He left. How am I ever going to talk to him again? He's still probably going to spread those rumors." I say and she shakes her head.

"If he liked it, he won't let anyone know, and he won't lie, because he'll be afraid someone will find the truth. He won't tell anyone."

"Sit down everyone, class is starting!" The teacher says and we make our way to our seats.

I'm surprised to see no one in Luke's seat.

Good day to skip, Lucas.

When it's finally lunch, I get my lunch and walk to the table Kaitlyn and I sit at, and she smiles at me when I sit.

I smile back at her, and suddenly her face goes blank, looking behind me.

"Hey Dawn." I hear.

I know that voice..

Someone sits next to me and I look over into bright blue eyes.

"Luke?" I ask.

"Surprised?"

"Yes, people are whispering, go away." I say and he just smirks and starts to eat his food.

Soon three boys sit down next to us and I groan. It's his crew.

Great.

"This is Michael, Ashton, and Calum." He says pointing to the boys.

I nod my head at them and continue eating.

I look to Kaitlyn and see her blushing, as Calum sneaks glances at her.

Cute.

Just a few minutes later, I start to get aggravated by the loud laughing and whispers, so i just sigh and stand up, not looking at anyone, even Kaitlyn.

I throw away my tray and exit the lunch room, walking outside the school doors.

I pull out a smoke and light it, a bad habit that started junior year, when everything happened..

I sit down on a bench, and inhale the smoke, closing my eyes as I exhale.

"I didn't know you smoked." I jump and my eyes shoot open.

I groan. "You just can't leave me alone can you?"

"No." He says and reaches for my cigarette, sitting beside me.

He pulls it out of my mouth and i scowl at him.

He takes a drag.

"Really?"

"Mhmm."

I stand up and start to walk away, and he gets up too.

"Where you going babe?" He asks.

"Inside. Obviously."

I hear him walk up behind me, but I don't stop walking.

He turns me around and looks into my eyes, and i freeze.

"You forgot something." He whispers.

He slowly brings his hand to my mouth, and I open it, and he places the cigarette inside it.

He takes his lower lip in between his teeth as I take a drag, and then I blow it in his face, turning and walking away.

"See you around Dawn."

I don't answer, and throw the cigarette behind my back, and walk into the doors.

I walk into my next class, and wink at Kaitlyn, before sitting in my seat.

"Okay class, new project, and you get partners." Everyone looks towards their friends, and I look at Kaitlyn and she smiles.

"I'm picking your partners."

Groans are heard throughout the room and I roll my eyes.

"Mark and Sam."

"Tina and Cathy."

"Kaitlyn and Calum."
Damn it.

"Dawn and Luke."
Your fucking kidding me..

I look over at Kaitlyn and she sends me a sorry look and then blushes when Calum winks at her.

I just ignore Lukes stare on me as I raise my hand.

"Dawn?"

"Can I switch partners?"

"No."

"Big help." I roll my eyes and put my head on my desk for the rest of that class.

When school is over, of course, waiting by my car is luke.

"Hey partner." I ignore him and get in my car.

He knocks on my window and I roll it down.

"Who even are you?"

"I'm just a teenage dirtbag, baby." He giggles and I try very hard to hide my grin.

"Don't."
