Backed agaisnt the wall trying not to show his fear he grips on to his shirt and hopes for the best.
Oh C'mon now don't be a little bitch come and fight us". The young boy just stood there silent as he endured the brutalilty of there fists. "Ha, you didn't put up much of a fight loser" said the older boy proclamining it in accomplishment. The boy stood up a stream of blood ran down his face he staggered on to his feet and made his way home. A quiet wind whispered softly in the background while walking home beaten, he stared up at the sky thinking how nice it would be to experience such a magnificent sight up close. As he arrived home he was greeeted by the abrupt swing of the house door.
"Arior you idiot!" his mother yelled angerly. "Thanks to you I was 10 minutes late to work and my boss yelled at me this is all your fault you ungratefull child!"
"Mother I-" he responded Disheartnedly
"I don't want to here your stupid excuses!" as she slaps him across his already beaten face. " Go to your room i don't want to here it". Feeling like speaking back arior said in a stuttered voice said
"But-t"- Interupted by his mother.
"Excuse me? Don't you dare talk back to your mother" sullenly he gave in to her and replied
"Yes mother.." Arior walks to his room cleaning his cut up face. As he works on his homework blood continues to seep out of his wound dripping on his paper. He stares at the blood drops thinking of the pain he went through, the stress he deals with, the family that doesnt care untill the drops of blood are joined by tears. He gets up to look at himself in the mirror to see why he was tortured, why he was hated, and all he saw was a person that needed to escape. And so he waited, waited for his mother to sleep waited for his tears stop, and the blood to dry, for the sun to go down, he waited for his escape. He climbed out the window and onto the street not knowing where he'd end up not knowing where he'd go but looked up at the night sky to guide him where he needs to be. Up a hill down a street through the trees he found the perfect spot. The night breeze was chill and calming, not a sound to be heard he took a breath and cherrished it so. He looked up at the night sky filled with the most brilliant of stars hundreds thousands millions upon millions of tiny lights illuminated the deep black sky like a work of art breath taking and Awe inspiring. And amongst the the night sky he witnessed something amazing something incredible a falling star dashed across the sky and with that he made a wish. His wish of being able to be one with the night sky to be up there, to shine like he always wanted to and suddenly he was looking down on the world. His face was no longer cut no longer beaten but was bright and alive. He couldn't believe himself, he touched the night sky with his bare hands a cool crisp almost silk like fabric that dissolved like sand but floated away like a dandlion in the breeze. Every step he took was another moment in awe. It was all truely spectaular, and mommentus in its own way he just wished he could share this experience with someone...
Locked in her room crying out in in a somber silence a young girl named Lydia tries to keep herself together.
"Why..just why did god have to ..make me this way why does everyone hate me" she uttered. Depressed over her own life over her family she feels no one cares, no listens, and only gets noticed when they need someone to blame.
"Dammit lydia stop crying like a baby and go do your work" her sister barged in bitterly".
"sorry i just..im not feeling okay right now" she repiled in a forgiving voice
"I don't care at all what you feel like jeez this is why you're such a loser just do as your told and forget about going out tomarrow you'll be taking care of the kids "
"This isn't fair i just got made a new friend and i.."
Oh please im sure its just another prank you're such a gullible loser " she laughs and locks her in her room with nothing to eat. Lydia in shambles, as she thinks about the hurtfull words her sister said. She rests her head on her pillow as she breaks into tears crying herself into a depressed state. her scars not visable on her body but unimaginable on in the inside. Her voice trapped inside a the cage of herself, not able to speak her mind, not able to do the things she so desires to do, not able to live. All she can manage to say though the sadness is
"I want to escape.."' she waited for her family to sleep, for her voice to quiet, for her tears to move on, for the night to arrive and take away the sorrow. She cimbed out up on to her room making sure she left no trace of her behind she had given up she had lost all hope all she felt was pain and saddness she wasn't living at all but slowly dying she couldn't smile, she couldn't try, she was ready to die never again having to feel sorrow. Standing up from the roof of her home where all her pain lied she looked up at the sky one last time and saw a bright dash of light streek across the faded sky. And with that gave her wish..
"I wish i could escape.." and stepped off.
Out of nowhere Arior heard a stumbbling sound nearby and went to go investigate. To his surprise he found a young girl beautifull and fragile just like the stars except she her beauty shinned brighter then any star could.
"Hey are you okay?" arior asked worriedly.
"Huh..where am i? who are you? how did i even get here?" confused and dazed she remembered what she was trying to do and started to cry. Her tears falling upon the twilight sky causing rainclouds beneath.
"You shouldn't be crying in such an amazing place like this, its really a sight to see c'mon i can show you if you'd like?" Arior said in a comforting voice. He put out his hand. "let me show you the night"
"Um..sure" Lydia repiled in a soft voice drying her tears as she took his hand. The two walked amongst the the midnight sky viewing the world together, they both laughed and smiled. Arior ran across the horizion and lydia danced under the moon. Hoping over the clouds and laying down seeing the world pass by beneath their feet. Arior spoke with a voice of tranquility
" I never knew the world could be so beautiful, i used to see it only filled with pain, everyday i'd give up on myself give up on the world and only the night sky saved me from that" then grabbing lydia's hand as she spoke in understanding
"I thought there was no place left on the world for me i didn't think i'd ever belong i tried giving up.... I thought i had no other choice the only thing i had to look up to to dream about was the night sky". Lydia laying her head on his chest.
And almost Simletaniously they both said
"It's my escape.." As the sun began to peek its way out of the horizon and the night began to fade away with its mysterious beauty Arior grabbed lydia by her hands and looked her straight in the eyes
" Don't ever let the world get you down never let your shining spirit fade whenever your feeling down whenever your all alone look up at the stars and know the world is a beautiful place"
"Arior..." Lydia uttered in the impact of his words. He held her close with a soft touch and spoke with sincerity as he passionatly said
"Lyida will you be my escape..?" She smiled as the sun began to rise in a glittering display of light and darkness combining to form a vivid masterpiece. They both faded away with the night as mysterious as how they got there. They dissapered. Arior awoke to find himself in a grassy field beneath a tree with a perfect view of the sunrise. For a moment he thought to himself "was it all just a dream?" but as he looked up at the morning sky he felt the same feeling as before and knew that what he felt was his escape.
