Miguel's pov:
Sam and I just broke up. I wasn't happy about it.
The next day I went to school and there was a new girl. I didn't know what her name was but she was pretty. She seemed nice because she was almost immediately making friends left and right. At this point I was the only person that wasn't friends with her, even hawk was friends with her. So I decided to make my move, she was walking and I bumped into her. "I'm sorry didn't mean to do that" I say "oh it okay" she says "by the way I'm Miguel" "cool I'm Athena, hope to see you around Miguel" she says. She had a soft voice and she was really nice.
Athena's pov:
I have made so many friends at this point. Someone bumped into me this morning his name was Miguel. He was actually super nice about it. He was really cute.
It was lunch time and so I went looking around for a table and a boy with a blue Mohawk told me to come sit, so I did. He said something to Miguel before I sat down, whatever he said to him must have made him mad or something because he hit the side of the boys. He looked up at me and he was smiling. Hawk was nice but he was kinda cocky and I wasn't the type of person that likes that. Miguel was the type of guy that I would fall for, but it was too early to tell if I liked him. So I decided I would hang around him more and get to know him. I handed Miguel my phone because he was sitting beside me, "number" I said he instantly knew what I wanted. He put in his number and then set the contact name as "Miguel <3" I laughed a little as I put my number in his as "Athena 😘" he didn't realize the emoji, until I said something. He laughed a little and didn't change it.
"What's so funny?" Hawk said "nothing" me and Miguel almost said at the same time. Which made us laugh a little more, we didn't know why we were laughing so much.
Miguel's pov:
Hanging around Athena was super fun, we laughed a lot with each other. I liked the way she dressed and I liked her humor, and how pretty she was. She was nicer to me then Sam was. The only let down about her is she was friends with Sam and moon. I was okay with moon being her friend but not Sam.
School was over and I went home and texted Athena
Me: hey random question do you like karate
Athena 😘: uh yeah I used to do it when I was like 10
Me: that's great, would you want to join the dojo that I go to
Athena 😘: sure why not where is it at
Me: at a strip mall I'll send you the address
Athena 😘: okay sounds good, bye Miguel 😉
Me: bye
I laughed to myself a little and got ready to go to the dojo. After getting ready I texted her the address. I got there and she was already there, she had a car so it made since.
Athena's pov:
I got there and a few minutes later Miguel arrived, "hey" he says "hey" I say back "fair warning he can be a little insensitive" "okay" I say.
