Gabrielle POV
Walking in to the lunch room grabing my salad from the fridge and making a cup of coffee.
It was only me in the room. I sat at one of the tables when the door opened. In walked the one and only Carlisle my beloved mate.
"How is day one going doc," I said.
"While hello to you too Ms Swan, and it has been going great so far. Everyone has been so kind," he said sitting across from me.
"That's good, I have to say working hear is always fun with the kindness of the stuff except Jasmine she is just bitchy and trys to get every guys attention." I said sipping my coffee.
"Luckily I only have eyes for one lady," he said looking at me.
"Lucky girl," I said laughing.
"No I'm the lucky one," he said smiling.
"Just kiss already god," Sister Mary said walking in and walking back out. We both just started laughing.
"I need to tell you something but please don't freak," he said.
"Ok," I said.
"Yesterday I saw you at the graveyard up in the mountains with a child can I ask what was going on," he said.
I took a deep breath before looking at my salad, "you don't have to answer," he said.
"no it's ok, um, that was my daughter and we went to visit her father's grave. Yesterday was the one year anniversary of his death." I said with a neutral expression.
"Sorry to bring it up," he said taking my hand over the table.
I smiled tighting my gripe.
I wanted to ask about him being a vampire. His covenant. kids. Sister. Life.
As my lunch break came to an end. I stood up tossing my salad container and washed my coffee cup.
Before leaving Carlisle stopped me.
"Gabrielle wo...would you like to come..ee over and properly meet my family," he said stuttering at how nervous he was.
I laughed before answering, "of course I would darling as long as Sabrina can come and don't worry she probably knows more about vampire's then you do so don't stress about your little secret."
I walked out with a smirk and him confused as hell. This is going to be a lot of fun.

Both people walked to there office did what work was need and left the hospital. One more confused then the other.
