Y/n's pov

Flashback

 I quietly open the fridge door, I hear movement and look to the living room hoping he isn't awake. I sigh seeing him still asleep on the couch, I fully open the door and see nothing in the fridge except beer "Fuck," I whisper, I hear someone clear their throat. I quickly close the fridge and turn to him "What the fuck do you think you're doing" Father says, "I was looking for food to make for you," I lied. I was only looking in the fridge for food since I hadn't eaten in 5 days, "Bullshit," he says.

"You're trying to eat aren't you?" Father asks, "No," I say lying again "You know if you're lying again there will be consequences," "I know," I say. "Now head to you're room," he says walking away from me but he stops and turns back "Oh and don't open that fridge again got it," I reply with "Yes father," and walk away up to my room.

'That was strange' I thought as I sat down on my bed and grabbed one of my favorite books called Peter Pan. For some reason I like to read this book I don't know why I just do, after awhile of sitting on my bed I hear father coming up the stairs. I look at my clock and see it's 10:00 pm 'Shit' I thought, I quickly put my book down and turn off my bed side lamp and lay down pretending to sleep. 

I stay like that for a while but nothing happens. I quietly got off my bed putting on my slippers and quietly opening the door, I walked quietly towards fathers room and cracked open the door, peaking in. I see him sitting on the bed with someone on his lap making out, I quickly but quietly close the door and speed walk back to my room, taking off my slippers and getting back into bed.

The next morning I wake up to my alarm, I get ready and head downstairs, while walking into the kitchen I smell food. I walk into the kitchen and see someone I don't know cooking breakfast while humming "Who are you?" I ask, the woman turns around and says "Oh... ummm i'm one of your fathers friends,". After she says that father walks in "Morning Jenna," he says then he notices me "What are you doing up?" I reply with "I always wake up at this time," "No normally you'll wake up around 10:00 am," he says. 

"Nope I always wake up around 9:30 am," I say, "You telling me i'm wrong?" Father says but adds "If you are there will be consequences," "I'm not saying you're wrong," I say quietly "Speak up!" ⚠️TW//Hitting⚠️fathers says loudly slapping me. End of TW "I'm not saying you're wrong," I said louder then before, "Good now go to your room," my father says walking towards the table and sitting down, "But i'm hungry," I say to him "Y/n I said go to your room," he says. "But father you said a few days ago that I could eat on Saturdays and today is Saturday," I say, "Yes but it's not Saturday it's Friday," my father says getting annoyed.

"Umm... I don't mean to intrude or anything but John today is in fact Saturday," Jenna says plating breakfast on plates and putting a glass of water in front of father. "See today is Saturday so I get food," I say looking at father, "Well I lied you'll get food tomorrow," father says "But I want food today," I say stomping my foot on the ground, "Y/n enough," Father says drinking some water out of his glass. "Why can't I get food today?" I ask him, he doesn't answer my question instead he just starts eating his food that Jenna put in front of him.

"Father answer my question please," I say looking at his food for a quick moment then back to his face. Father then slams his hand on the table after he's down chewing and yells "Y/n enough!", I start to shake with fear and just look down to the ground. Jenna then steps in and says...

Hello I'm not feeling the best and yet here I am finishing this chapter and publishing it at 1:30 am. Sorry it took me so long to publish this story I've been dealing with a lot of stress from school and other things as well.
