"Jungkook!" Namjoon shouted, his hair sticking to his face because he didn't open the umbrella yet. Jungkook ignored him, his shivering body continuing to speed walk through the rain. "Jungkook, please, you're cold, wet and upset. Please talk to me." Jungkook stopped walking and turned around, "What the fuck do you want me to say? All you're gonna do is make fun of me for it later. I a-already lost my mom, I-I get bullied at school. N-Now my dad is trying to replace my m-mom with my bully's mother?!" He screamed, throwing his hands in the air. Namjoon approached Jungkook, "Look, Jungkook, I don't like their relationship either. My-" Namjoon stopped talking for a second, "My Dad passed away last year and all my mom has been doing is trying to find someone to fill the whole he left." Namjoon reached into his shirt, "This is all I have of my father because they haven't found his body." Jungkook looked at what Namjoon pulled from his shirt through the rain. A large wolf's tooth attached to a braided cord necklace. "Hyung..." Namjoon looked up at him slowly. "I'm sorry. I wish we could be friends, but after all you've done to me at school, I just can't." Namjoon sighed, his shoulders dropping. "I don't want to bully you, but if I don't, I won't get what I need." Jungkook scrunched his eyebrows. "What?"
Namjoon sighed again, removing his jacket and placing it on Jungkook's shoulders, "Jungkook, your psycho admirer threatened me. He said he knows who killed my dad and could get info on where his body is if I pushed you away from me. I really like you, like, really like you." Jungkook looked at his feet and held onto the large nubuck jacket. "You bullied me because someone bribed you because they also like me?" Namjoon nodded, "It sounds bogus, but I- I felt the need to find my dad and his killer. But I know my dad would want me to follow my heart." He said, reaching for the umbrella strap, opening the umbrella and pulling Jungkook close.
Jungkook signed under the weight of Namjoon's arm. "I don't think I can jump straight into us being ok with each other." Namjoon nodded, "And I don't expect you to, but I just want you safe. Let's get to the house." Jungkook nodded. Namjoon hesitated, "From tonight forward, I'll stop bullying you. I don't want hatred between us." Jungkook chuckled nervously. "Our parents are dating." Namjoon laughed, "My mom wants money and big dick, so far, your dad has only one of those. If he can't satisfy her sexually she'll leave him too." Jungkook walked in sync with Namjoon until they got back to his house.
"JUNGKOOK! You need to apologize to Lina." His dad said as soon as Jungkook got inside. Jungkook frowned at his dad, his eyebrows furrowing, Namjoon spoke before Jungkook could plunge himself into more trouble. "It's okay Mr. Jeon. My mother is just fine. We'll be leaving now. Jungkook, shower to warm up and get some rest." He said, his hand on Jungkook's back. Jungkook nodded and moved to hand the jacket back, "It's supposed to rain tomorrow, you can return it to me after school." Namjoon said, smiling.
Jungkook's dad was staring at them in confusion, their mannerisms different from dinner. Jungkook left the room, the sound of his door shutting making his dad shake himself from his trance. "What happened?" He asked. Namjoon looked at his mom as she kissed Jungkook's dad on the cheek before standing behind Namjoon and opening the front door, "His mother's death is still hard on his brain and heavy on his heart. I related to that. See you soon Mr. Jeon." Namjoon said, walking out the front door.
