A sealed destiny

Chapter 6

You wake up and go to check your phone with a smile, still incredibly happy from the events of yesterday. When you see Xingqiu asleep next to you you grow slightly confused did he miss you last night and want to come over? No that's not it. Was he waiting for you to wake up so the two of you could go over the plan for telling Chongyun then fall asleep while waiting for you? No, that can't be it either. Why was he still here?

You spend a while pondering over why Xingqiu was still here then it hit you everything that happened 'yesterday' was all a dream. You didn't have any plans with Chongyun today, you and Xingqiu didn't play pretend yesterday, You didn't kiss Xingqiu yesterday and you and Xingqiu weren't dating.

You start crying struggling to believe that one of the best days of your life didn't happen.

After what feels like forever but was really only five minutes of your crying you see the blue-haired boy next to you sit up and stretch it takes him a few seconds to wake up properly but as soon as he does a panicked look forms on his face "My liege what's wrong? Are you ok?" he says clearly worried as he puts his arm around you in an attempt to comfort you. "Had a really good dream last night woke up thinking it was real then I realised it wasn't, I know it sounds dumb and childish but the dream made me really happy." you saw between sobs. "(Y/n)" he says as he makes you face him "there's absolutely nothing dumb or childish about that when something that makes us happy is taken away from us we lose the sense of happiness and we need to find something else to take its place. Is it alright if I ask what the dream was about so we can do something similar to what happened in the dream or today we can do other stuff to take your mind off the dream." he continues as he tries his best to comfort you. 'I'd like to do stuff to take my mind off it if that's alright with you obviously." You say back "That sounds like a good idea my liege, what do you want to do?" the boy says with a warm smile. "We could go to the movies. I looked it up the other day and there's this cool movie at the moment it looks really interesting," you say with a slight smile. Xingqiu nods his head agreeing to your plan he didn't care what movie it was he only cared if it made you feel better, you seemed quite upset and he hated it.

You and Xingqiu get ready and then start walking to the movies. "Hey, can you hold my hand while we walk it made me feel really safe yesterday that's all?" you question as the two of you leave your house "of course my liege," Xingqiu says with a smile and a slight blush you don't notice this though because you wear busy fixing your hair. You didn't know why but you were quite excited.

The two of you leave the house hand in hand you couldn't help but smile not just because you were holding hands with your crush but because of how much effort Xingqiu was putting in to make you feel better. Xingqiu always does everything he can to make you feel better but today something felt special like he knew the dream was about him and he felt bad about it. "My Liege, you seem quite happy what are you thinking about?" Xingqiu asks with a smile looking at you curiously "Nothing much, just happy im spending this time with you." You reply still smiling "Im glad you're feeling better." The dark blue-haired boy male responds.

After a little walking, the two of you arrive at the movies and buy tickets and food Xingqiu insists on paying for it all claiming he should pay because he's trying to make you feel better. You couldn't help but smile even more after him doing this.

Once the two of you had brought everything you guys went into the actual cinema where they showed the movie and sat down next to each other and talked for a bit before the trailers came on. As soon as the trailers came on Xingqiu goes quiet knowing how much you love watching the trailers it was your favourite part of going to the movies.

As the trailers were playing Xingqiu couldn't help but look at you he wondered how someone could be so perfect, he could find absolutely no flaws in you whatsoever. As he was thinking about this he realised that he needed to tell you how he felt about you asap because someone as flawless as you were bound to have people interested in you what if one of those people tell you that they like you before he can what if you and the other person start dating then it would be inconsiderate for Xingqiu to tell you how he feels at least if he told you while you were single he wouldn't be causing any drama between you and someone else.
