A thick kind of silence was covering up the lavish room. The heavy aura oozing out from the king standing in front of the bed, looking down at his son's bandaged body with a blank face. The queen was silently crying while her daughter was trying to calm her down.

Technically the war had ended with tae's victory and Maruf's life and the king knew that Maruf's father will try everything to declare a big war against the Hena kingdom because of that. And jungkook was liking every bit of it because he knew that this upcoming war will be the last battle for this royal family.
Now come to think of it Jungkook was going to be severely punished for breaking many strict rules. He's a concubine and sneaking to the war zone and taking part in the battle was a big no no. But considering him killing the Enemy prince and saving Taehyung, could protect Jungkook from having an intense death sentence

"That's good news, you may leave" The emperor smiled in relief as the medic gave a slight bow before leaving the room. The queen shakily went closer to her sleeping son and carefully stroked his hair. "My son, my dear son. Please don't ever leave your mother like that" she teared up followed by the princess trying to hold her grief back.
"Jeon jungkook" the king suddenly called out and slowly turned towards the panicked concubine. The old man had his handsome face clenched up and brows frowned, lending everyone an angry complexion "explain yourself because you know how many rules you have broken"
"Your mejesty, I don't have any explanation behind my actions. But everything I did was right for his highness. I couldn't hold myself back from going there with him. I was deeply worried and everyone now knows how some intruders tried to kill His highness Kim taehyung"
"But that doesn't mean you will do such aspect. Did you forget your place?" The queen whisper yelled but instantly got shushed by her husband's raised palm. The King silently kept on starting at the concubine for quite some time before speaking up "Thank you for saving him. It could be a disastrous situation because we couldn't send help on time. Although you have done wrong we also can't forget your brilliant contribution in that war" the king paused and mentally chuckled at the stunned jungkook standing like a stone

"You won't be given any kinds of punishments because of this but make sure not to break any rules from now on. And you can ask me for anything you want" the king smiled. His wife and daughter sitting behind him was surprised as fuck, despising and suspecting jungkook to the core more than before
