Tony and Bruce began to work on the tracking devices that they would need, Tony was trying out a new technology he had come up with. That would track and predict a quarries next moves "Bruce I think I almost have this ready" he said as he worked at his monitor "Wanna come take a look at these calculations?"
"So, what are you going to do now that you have both Emmy and Pepper living here?" Bruce asked as he an the calculations
Tony rolled his eyes as he looked at Bruce " Seriously, Jolly Green?" he asked "This has nothing to do with that, this is a temporary arrangement for both of them" Tony dismissed Bruce but Bruce knew Tony too well.
"Come on Tony" He urged "Ive seen the way you look at Emmy, there is something there"
"Maybe you should get your glasses checked because you are seeing things" Tony continued to do what he was doing not making eye contact
"Ive also noticed the way she looks at you" Bruce continued, not discouraged by Tonys grumpy tone "What happened before she was taken?"
Tony finally looked up at Bruce, regret in his eyes "I made a decision and maybe it wasn't exactly the right one" He sighed "nothing I can do about it now, it wouldnt be fair to anyone involved."
"I dont think that's the case" Bruce said solemnly "I think you should be honest about what you are feeling"
"Right now all im feeling is very annoyed with this conversation" Tony responded "Can we finish this please?"
"Im just saying you may have a second chance here, Ton" Bruce insisted "Dont let it slip way because you are afraid of what you are feeling" He went back to hitting buttons on his keyboard but added "Emmys back in your life for a reason, so is Pepper, maybe its time to make the right decision this time."
"Im not making anything right now except a drink" Tony stated frustrated with the conversation "Can you take those trackers to the rest of the team and have them get this show on the road."
With that Tony walked out of the lab leaving a frustrated Bruce shaking his head at Tonys retreating back "This is going to be an interesting few weeks "He gathered all the trackers and went to find the others.
