Marinette is not as strong as she seems. As she portrays herself. She not only wears a mask as Ladybug but as Marinette too.

She hasn't been sleeping so being on time, was normal. Her grades were barley holding on to barley passing. Just the assesment scores that had saved her. Her parents blamed this on her crush of Adrien.

"No more of that Adrien boy, Marinette. He's no good for you if you can't do your schooling." Sabine said.

Marinette didn't even shed a tear. She walked into school that next day and split her ways with Adrien. He didn't understand, which led him into being akumatized. Ladybug almost failed to beat him, if it wasn't for Plagg.

Marinette got the rap of being unkind, cruel, heartless, worse than Chloé. Marinette wasn't cruel. She was just exhausted with Paris and its negative energy. As the hero, it has taken her soul. Leaving two masks stuck against her skin. 

Marinette couldn't speak to anyone, even Chat Noir of her mental status. She was done with the mask, as it shall fall tonight.

Ladybug detransformed into Marinette and set down the earings. Not acknowledging Tikki.

"Paris made her do it." Marinette said. She ended the live and jumped off the building. Chat Noir ran faster then he could. Tripping and falling on his feet. He couldn't even process that his father was Shadowmoth.

He was too late. A pool of red deep blood surrounded Marinette's body. He picked up the earings and jumped to her.

"No, no, no.. Marinette. Not you." He whispered.

He screamed. Letting all of his pain out. Shooting a large cataclysm into the air.. "NO! NOT YOU! WHY?" He screamed into the air of Paris. He held onto her body and sobbed.
