Layla's Story

ch16 prom

It was the day of prom and I did not know what to wear. Piper brought me back to life.
"Layla could you hand me the hair curler"? I had zoned out and did not even realize I had. I gave Piper the hair curler. It was just me and the girls. My parents were down stairs waiting for us. I looked in the mirror. I was trying to pick out my outfit.
"Layla, this is for you". Ana and Sydney had given me a gift for prom. I opened the box and there was a sexy red dress and a necklace. I started to cry.
"Are you crying"? Ashley got up and hugged me. "yes but its only because I love it to much". I put on the dress and Elena looked at me.
"Girl you look hotter then the love goddess". Everyone laughed. My mom came to check on us.
"Layla,  love the dress. You look good". The other girls pushed her out of the room.
"No spoilers, out".  We all laughed.
"Ok,  I'm going". My mom left and Ana shut the door. When we got done with our make up and getting dressed we walked down stairs. Some of the other girls were dating each other. The people who had other dates had to wait till the boys showed up. When we reached the end of the stairs we heard a knock at the door. My dad opened it. Lynn, Leo, Phoenix, Luke, Michael, Hardin, Leon And Chris were waiting for us girls. Well some of us girls.  Dad invited the boys in and we took a group picture together. After we took our group picture we left. We all got in our own cars or trucks. Chris pulled me close to him and he kissed me.  When we arrived at the school we could not find the building that prom was held in. Leon waved at us and we walked towards them.
"Its in here". We walked in the building and Leon was right it was in the performing arts center. Me and Chris danced until they called for prom queen and prom king.
"Can i please have Chris Underwood and Layla Fiyers please". The girls screamed. They pushed me towards the stage.  Me and Chris were prom king and prom queen.
"Now can the queen and king have there first dance"? Chris offered me his hand. I grabbed it and he spun me.  He pulled me to the middle of the room. Piper walked up to the dj and asked him something. My favorite song came on. "Must be doin something right". Chris pulled me close to him. We danced along to  the music. Then Leon stole me and Claire stole Chris.  We danced crazy for a while. Then Claire and Leon pushed me and Chris in the middle of the room and he kissed me. We were the best live story in parker high and everyone loved us. My life kinda did feel perfect but there was only one thing I wanted most, Chris.
