Sunghoon woke up because of the sound of his phone. He received a text from his secretary that he have an urgent meeting. He smiled as he saw Jake who is cutely snoring beside him. He kissed the latter's forehead before carefully get up, for the smaller not to wake up. He even wrote a letter for Jake , he didn't want the little to think that he left him and go with someone else.
One hour after the taller left, Jake woke up without someone on his side. He even taught it's just a dream, but when he stand and saw a letter from the taller, his worry immediately vanished.
"My love, I have something urgent to do, I don't want to wake you up so I just decided to leave a letter so you won't wonder where did I go"
Jake smiled as he read the letter. He got up from the bed and cooked something for dinner. Jake decided to cook ramen because he doesn't know how to cook, that's because they usually hire a maid in their house and now, he moved out to become more independent and slowly learning things by his own. After eating, he decided to drink some coffee outside. He locked his condo and left the house wearing his black hoodie.
He decided to go to the starbucks. He ordered a black coffee and a piece of cake. He was quietly enjoying the view while sipping his coffee when someone sit infront of him.
"Hi, Jakey! You're here also?"
The latter was surprised to see his workmate Beomgyu, he smiled at the other. " Yes, I'm here to drink some coffee,how about you?Are you with someone?" Jake asked. "No, I'm not, I'm going from my parent's house and I decided to buy some coffee for them"
Beomgyu's order came so he immediately said goodbye to the latter. "Goodbye Jakey! See you tomorrow!!"
Jake finished his coffee and decided to go home. He decided to walk because the starbucks are jus few meters away from his condo. He was currently listening to a song, he remembered their first encounter with Sunghoon. He doesn't know but he feels happy about being with the taller. Even if it's just a short time, he can feel the care that Sunghoon is giving him. He just hope that the taller is not just playing with his feelings nor see him as a toy. Jake doesn't want to experience heartbreak. That is one of the reasons why he rejected all of his suitors back then. He was afraid that one day, when he was getting attached, they will left him. But all of his thoughts and worries vanished when Sunghoon came into the picture.
Jake saw a familiar figure from a far. When he looked closer, he can see Sunoo with a guy, seems like they where arguing about something. He immediately approached the two.
"Sunoo?" when the other saw Jake, he seemed shocked. "Jakey?What are you doing here?" Sunoo asked . Jake was looking at the man who is Sunoo with, the tall guy with a peircing and a black hair. "Sunoo? Who is he?" Jake ignored Sunoo's question. The latter was about to answer when the other interrupted him.
"I'm Nishimura Riki,but you can call me Ni-ki" the man with the peircing answered and put his two hands on his pocket. The man was wearing a black formal suit with a white in shirt. The man is also wearing specs that make him look hotter. By his appearance, Jake knows that this Ni-ki is rich. " Can you just shut up and go home? I told you we have nothing to talk about" Sunoo frustratedly said and was about to pull Jake with him when Ni-ki grabbed Sunoo's wrist to face him.
"Okay I'll go, but I will not stop, just think about what I said" Ni-ki said and he left with his Ferrari.
Jake was still unaware of happening. When they reached Sunoo's condo. Jake sat in the couch while the other excused himself to get some water. He recieved the water Sunoo gave him, he was about to say something when Sunoo interrupted him
"I know you want to know what happened, I'll explain okay?" Jake nodded and continue to drink his water.
"So, i met him at the bar, remember about the party? I told you that Heeseung called me but that's not the real reason why I left you. I left you because that man pulled me with him. The next thing I knew, I was in his condo. He is my ex and he wants me to prevent as his fiance, that's the thing he said for me to think about"
"But why do you have to pretend as his fiance"Jake was confused why should he bother his friend when he can just easily pay someone to pretend.
"That's because his family knows we have a relationship, and they think we are still together, and he was pressured by his parents that he should get married before he can get their company" Sunoo explained and Jake seems to understand it. "If you want someone to talk to,I'? here okay?" Jake pulled Sunoo into a hug. "Thank you Jakey, can you please not tell this to others? Sunoo plead the latter. "Okay I promised" Jake replied and break the hug. The two continued to tell stories, Jake also told Sunoo what happened between Sunghoon and him. The other was eager and excited about the story. He was shocked about the fact that Jake and their boss were a thing.
After many hours, Jake decided to go home. Sunoo accompanied him outside and thanked him once again. When Jake was already home, he felt tired so he decided to just sleep so that he would have energy for tomorrow's work.
