Max's POV
Me and David walked down the woods. Eventually he spoke up. "Max. . . I overheard the corruption talk and. . . You don't actually think you might get corrupted? " I went silent. Well it's not like I talked much during the hike. "Max? " I still didn't respond. "Please answer me.. You're scaring me"
"... Yes.... I do think that" I said looking down.
"Max... You still have Ni-"
"But who knows how long that will last!! " I shouted cutting David off.
"Please calm down Max..... Even if you, Nikki, and Neil stop being friends you still have people who care. " he said.
"Who? I've been terrible to everyone here. Maybe I shouldn't be here... " I mumbled out the last part. Once again I was brought into a hug.
"I still care"
"Why though I've been terrible.... I don't deserve t-this" I said tearing up.
"I've always been caring because I know you need it"
".... Even after, I've tried to kill you multiple times... Tried to run away from camp on several occasions.. Almost killed campers or put them in situations where they can get hurt... All around I shouldn't be here... I've done nothing but hurt this camp... " I said pushing away from the hug tears in my eyes. I started to walk off.
"Max!! " I ignored it. I didn't belong there... Maybe not anywhere.
"Max! There you are! " I quickly realized it was Nikki and Neil. "Where have you been? "
"Uhh.....n-nowhere.. " I started walking again I wanted to cry, I wanted to leave... I didn't want to be here.
The next thing I knew I was on the ground crying. This time when I looked at my clothing I actually saw them get lighter and lighter. Is it happening already? I don't want this..... I pulled out my phone looking at myself I looked like a mess. The next thing I knew darkness.
(I'm beginning to think this story is going to be a lot of max venting... Angst related... Fuck))
