Screaming can be heard as gunshots filled the air, silencing the screams. (Y/N) looked at the corpse of his dead parents, tears streaming down his face while blood seeped out of the cut on his cheek. The smoke around him burned his eyes as he kept wiping them.

He looked down at his father, picking up his katana next to his body. He didn't even get to use it before he got killed by Enforcers. (Y/N) slowly got back up, using the sheathed katana to support him.

Footsteps can be heard walking towards him as he panics, drawing the blade, holding it up as his father had. His grip tightened as the person walked out of the smoke, becoming visible to him as Vander looked at the scared child before him.

(Y/N)'s legs grew weak, shaking before he collapsed to the floor in tears, dropping the katana. He finally saw a familiar face, a close family friend, Vander. Though he wasn't alone, he was with two other children. Vander knelt down next to him, picking up his sword and sheathing it for him. "Let's go, kid."

He quickly composed himself, picking up the sword as the four of them walked back to the undercity. The two girls got tired as Vander picked them up, carrying them in his arms while (Y/N) held onto his shirt, following Vander back.

That was a few years ago, today, things are different. (Y/N) climbed up to the top of a building, reaching down and helping everyone else up, though Claggor was a bit harder to pull up.

The gang looked out at Piltover, seeing the city before them before an airship flies past them. "One day, I'm gonna ride in one of those things." Powder proudly proclaimed.

"And one day, I'm gonna shoot one of 'em down." Mylo said, making a finger gun and pointing it at the airship.

(Y/N) lightly smiled as Vi kept going, "Vi, are you sure about this? Look, if we get caught, we're-" Claggor was cut off by Vi replying as she jumped down to another building, "We're not gonna get caught. We'll be in and out before anyone notices."

They reached a point where they can't easily cross to the other building without having to do some parkour, "All right, everybody, follow me. Just don't look down." Vi instructed as she slid down the roof, jumped off and landed on a railing before jumping to the other side.

Mylo had a smug look on his face as he went next, quickly getting to the other side, doing exactly what Vi had done before Claggor joined him, picking up the cupcake left out in the balcony on his way.

"Couldn't we have at least walked there?" Claggor asked, finishing the cupcake. "We gotta stay out of sight for this one" Vi looked over and saw Powder holding (Y/N)'s hand, afraid.

(Y/N) looked over at his sister as both of them stare at each other. Though he didn't say a word, the look on his face told her that he believed in her and rooted for her. She nodded, letting go of him as she looked down at the building, the wind flowing through her hair.

She quickly jumped down, sloppily parkouring down to the railing before jumping over, nearly falling back before Vi catches her arm and pulls her up. The four of them looked at (Y/N) as he looked at the gap, scared shitless but judging from how wide the gap was, he could jump it.

He walked back, exiting their view, "Wha- Where is he going?" Mylo asked. He reached the very back, double-checking that his katana is held securely in place on his side as he could hear Vi calling out for him in the distance.

Taking a deep breath in, he looked forward before sprinting towards the edge, pushing himself to go faster before reaching the edge, jumping towards them. Claggor quickly catches him, settling him down. "Thank you." (Y/N) said quietly.
