I pulled the knife out of the girl's chest, it's blade sticky and red with her blood. I used the skirt of the girl's dress to wipe the blood off before sticking it back into my belt, the hilt of the blade catching the belt loop in security. Then I knelt back on my ankles, and pulled a bottle out of my bag and set it down above her head. I then poured water onto her forehead, the droplets running down into her silky, blonde hair. Her eyes shot upward. In the instant that her eyes opened, she disappeared, blinking away like a flickering light bulb's last attempt to remain lit. She had no time to scream. She had no time to fight. Just like before. When I killed her.

Smiling to myself, I picked up the bottle. A misty haze was drifting out of it, fogging up the glass. Sticking the bottle carefully into my bag, I stood up and walked away, her blood still staining the grass red.

Later into the night, I slipped the bottle into its place with great satisfaction. I'd been waiting for this for so long. Too long. I watched as the mist cleared up at last, revealing the horror struck face of the girl, staring back at me through the bottle.
