Jen had always been a county girl, but her mother always told her that she was a beautiful and intelligent little girl, but it didnt really sink in before she realized she was being accepted into a top dog college and making her way into New York City. She went to school to be a lawyer and work in office, and she thought she would just get a job in her hometown, but when a business man called from New York Attorney at Law, she and her mother almost cried.
Her mother had always been her best friend and of course her mother, so when she had to break the news to her mother that she was taking a life changing step and moving to the big city, her mother was so happy and she said she would visit her every weekend." Mother, I don't think that is nessecary to come see me that often" said Jen
" But I insist, and maybe you might find your true love you've been waiting for" said her mother
Jen rolled her eyes. Her mother said that Jen needed to find someone to hang onto after she was gone.
" Mother,I make these decisions on my own, and I will know when the time comes". " Stop rushing me" said Jen
" Im not rushing you honey". "Just stating my mind" said her mother.Jen was leaving in a few days, so she started packing up her furniture and other belongings for the move. Her mother decided that she was going to New York City with Jen for a week, just to help Jen get adjusted and get everything set up in her new apartment. Jen was looking forward to moving to the city, but she was also sad to leave her hometown. Jen had always wanted to see all the beautiful features that made up New York. Before it was time to leave , her hometown friends were planning a party for Jen that would consist of almost everybody coming to it. " Ring!" "Ring!" said her cellphone that was vibrating in her back pocket. " Hello" said Jen when she answered the phone call. " Oh hey Jen". "So I've changed the party to tonight, and we've got everything covered, so you don't have to bring anything except for yourself" " I've made resoirvations for tomorrow night for you and me to have dinner before you have to leave your best buddy behind" said Kathie. " Oh, Kathy I'm really going to miss you and you can still visit me down in the city" said Jen. " Ok Jen, I will and don't forget the party tonight" said Kathy. " The party starts at 6:30" said Kathy. " Ok I'll be there...ok bye Kathy" said Jen
