Nicknames Jules; This was a nickname she's had since she was a little baby. She doesn't really remember who gave it to her because she was so little when it first started — she's actually never really asked where she got it.
Julie; This nickname was also pretty common to her while growing up. She would hear it a lot from her immediate family when they came for family dinners and functions, from her older cousins and her aunts.
Etta; She absolutely hated this nickname. It was one that her Aunt on her father's side gave her, but when she was younger they always told her to be respectful so she wasn't able to express how she really felt about it.
Aves; This was something that the girls called her. They all had nicknames for one another, and this had been the one she was stuck with. Honestly though, she likes it and she wouldn't want them calling her anything else.
Avie; She had not been giving this name until she started at Seattle Grace hospital, where Derek was the one who first called her this. After it started he was the only one that she allowed to call her that nickname.
