(Bill pov)

I groan as I slam my head back against the edge of the tub."What the fuck am I going to do?" I run two of my hands over my face. "I saw him in the ballroom, and I said, well, you're making this so beautiful, we should have a dance tonight. I never thought he'd actually say yes! What was I thinking?! I haven't dance in 10 years! I'm just going to look like a fucking idiot. I should just cancel it."

"No, Master, it's perfect! The rose has only four petals left. Which means tonight...you must tell him how you feel."

I ruse out of the tub taking the towel from Lumire and use it to dry myself off. "I feel like a fucking fool. Nothing I say will ever make him love me. Or even remotely like me at all."

Tossing the towel aside I grab my boxers pulling them on before I go and sit in front of the mirror on my desk, resting my chin in the palm of my hand.

"Do not be discouraged. He is the one."

"Stop saing that!" I snap at him as he jumps up on the desk. "There is no one."

"You care for him, don't you? Well then, woo him with beautiful music and romantic candlelight..."

Plumette comes in and dust what I think is some of my old foundation on my face from my days before I was a monster. "Yes, and when the moment's just right... "

"But how will I know?" I look at them as Cogsworth speaks up.

"You will feel slightly nauseous." I give him a small glare as Lumire tries to reassure me.

"Don't worry, master, you'll do fine."

I glance at Mrs. Potts through the mirror.

"Just stop being a coward and tell Dipper how you feel. And if you don't, I promise you'll be drinking cold tea for the rest of your life."

"And in the dark."

"Covered in dust."

"Very dark and very very dusty."

Groaning I wipe my hand across my face getting the makeup off of me. "Alright, fine. But I can't do this with all of you in here. Get the hell out. Now."

They all leave as I stand up and walk over to my wardrobe. Gulping nervously I pull on the yellow tuxedo that my mother had made and saved for me before she died. For when I took my rightful place as ruler. I appreciate that the others had managed to sew on extra sleeves for it.

I take one last deep breathe in and out before slipping into the dress shoes and exiting the room, meeting Dipper at the stair case in the entryway.

My jaw drops once I see him. His hair is brushed to the sides to show off his birthmark. He wears the locket proudly around his neck and he's in a simple dark blue button up shirt, a black vest with a black tie, the tie tucked into the vest and some black trousers. But I see little silvery designs of pine trees and triangles on the vest.

"Wow. You....y-you just look splendid." I manage to stammer out. He smiles softly and I feel my heart skip a beat inside of my chest.

"You look terrific as well, Bill."

I take his hand in mine as I lead him down the stairs and into the ball room, the servants having really cleaned it up while we were getting ready.

The maistro and harps start playing so I keep four of my hands folded behind my back before holding Dipper's hand with one and the other holds his waist pulling him closer.

"Bill, this might be a good time for me to admit that I have no clue how to dance."

I just smile slightly as I lean down and whisper in his ear. "Just follow my lead and you'll do just fine, Pinetree."
