• Lauren •

Class is as boring as ever, Miss is going on about some of the keys on the piano and how the pedals charge the pitch and stuff. Things I already know.

Once class is over Abby and I head down to the local StarBucks to grab a ice tea as the sun beats down on our skin.

"So tell me! What are you going to do for this homework?" She asks as we sit down at a table.

This months project is to produce a pice of music with a partner to preform in front of the class. I don't want to do it.

" I don't know. I'm going to concentrate on Drama now anyway" I sigh leaning back in the chair as my phone buzzes in my pocket.

(U: Unknown L: Lauren)
'U: Hey. Is this Lauren?
L: Yeah... Who's this?
U: Bradley😂
L: How did you get my number?'

His weird? Has he been stalking me or something? I change his contact to Bradley and he texts again.

'B: I have my ways
L: Your weird...
B: Yeah but you love it
L: Far from it m8
B: Pick you up at 7?
L: Keep dreaming 😴'

I look up to see Abby wriggling her eyebrows at me. She's read it obviously.

"Bradley eh?" She questions sipping her tea.

"No Abby. There's nothing going on. His annoying. Plus I need to concentrate on school don't I?" I stand up and put my phone into my back pocket.

Abby and I begin walking back to the dorms what I listen to her talking about some girl in our class I've got to stay away from. I probably won't stay away from her.

When we get back Abby's phone pings and she squeals.

"What?" I smile at her sitting up on my bed.

"It's Jake! He wants to go out tonight!" She swings her feet off the bed and gets up.

"Are you going to go?" I question laying back down.

"Who wouldn't? Just because you have a problem with boys doesn't mean I have" she looks at me. Slowly I raise an eyebrow and she wanders off to get changed.

"I don't have a problem with boys!"

"No because you totally weren't rude to Robert or that guy who winked at you in the corridor or the Starbucks guy today who put his number on the cup, or Joe the guy you work with or Bradley" she raise her eyebrow at me whilst changing. She has a point.

I mean I don't have a problem with boys not at all but I'm not going to come to England and waist my education and go off with some boy.

The Starbucks guy did write his number in my cup, he was cute yeah but about half of the other girls had the same number on there cups too. As for Joe I have no idea what she's talking about.. Abby's come to the bar a couple of times whilst I'm working and we've been talking but not really flirting as such.

"I don't know what you mean by Joe? Plus all the other girls had numbers on there cups. Roberts a fuck boy and that other guy. And Bradley is just annoying" I shrug.

"Oh save it Lauren! Joe flirts with you all the time. I'm going or in a minute. Don't get lost" she says applying make up to her eyes. Music fills the dorm corridor and floods into our room. The clock hits 7 and there's a knock at the door. Excitedly Abby jumps up and opens it to see a rather wind swept Brad.

"Oh.." She says disappointed and falling back on to her bed.

"What are you doing here?" I stand up and push him into the hall.

"I said seven"

"And I never agreed" I push him back against the wall.

"Yeah but I know you want to come" he scratches the back of his neck.

"Your so annoying! Leave me alone!" I walk back into my dorm room to see Abby stood with my coat in her hand.

"Just fucking go. Anyway Jake and I will be banging so you don't Andy to be here for that" she shoves me out and locks the door leaving me with my phone purse and coat.

"Might as well make the most of it" he wriggles his eyebrows.

"Fine. But you haven't won"
